弟兄们，论到时候、日期，不用写信给你们；
Pero acerca de los tiempos y de las ocasiones, no tenéis necesidad, hermanos, de que yo os escriba.
But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.

因为你们自己明明晓得，主的日子来到，好像夜间的贼一样。
Porque vosotros sabéis perfectamente que el día del Señor vendrá así como ladrón en la noche;
For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.

人正说平安稳妥的时候，灾祸忽然临到他们，如同产难临到怀胎的妇人一样。他们绝不能逃脱。
que cuando digan: Paz y seguridad, entonces vendrá sobre ellos destrucción repentina, como los dolores a la mujer encinta, y no escaparán.
For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

弟兄们，你们却不在黑暗里，叫那日子临到你们像贼一样。
Mas vosotros, hermanos, no estáis en tinieblas, para que aquel día os sorprenda como ladrón.
But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.

你们都是光明之子，都是白昼之子。我们不是属黑夜的，也不是属幽暗的。
Porque todos vosotros sois hijos de luz e hijos del día; no somos de la noche ni de las tinieblas.
Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.

所以我们不要睡觉像别人一样，总要儆醒谨守。
Por tanto, no durmamos como los demás, sino velemos y seamos sobrios.
Therefore let us not sleep, as {do} others; but let us watch and be sober.
7
因为睡了的人是在夜间睡，醉了的人是在夜间醉。
Pues los que duermen, de noche duermen, y los que se embriagan, de noche se embriagan.
For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.
8
但我们既然属乎白昼，就应当谨守，把信和爱当作护心镜遮胸，把得救的盼望当作头盔戴上。
Pero nosotros, que somos del día, seamos sobrios, habiéndonos vestido con la coraza de fe y de amor, y con la esperanza de salvación como yelmo.
But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.

因为神不是预定我们受刑，乃是预定我们藉著我们主耶稣基督得救。
Porque no nos ha puesto Dios para ira, sino para alcanzar salvación por medio de nuestro Señor Jesucristo,
For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

他替我们死，叫我们无论醒著、睡著，都与他同活。
quien murió por nosotros para que ya sea que velemos, o que durmamos, vivamos juntamente con él.
Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.
11
所以，你们该彼此劝慰，互相建立，正如你们素常所行的。
Por lo cual, animaos unos a otros, y edificaos unos a otros, así como lo hacéis.
Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do. {comfort: or, exhort}

弟兄们，我们劝你们敬重那在你们中间劳苦的人，就是在主里面治理你们、劝戒你们的。
Os rogamos, hermanos, que reconozcáis a los que trabajan entre vosotros, y os presiden en el Señor, y os amonestan;
And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labour among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you;

又因他们所做的工，用爱心格外尊重他们。你们也要彼此和睦。
y que los tengáis en mucha estima y amor por causa de su obra. Tened paz entre vosotros.
And to esteem them very highly in love for their work's sake. {And} be at peace among yourselves.
14
我们又劝弟兄们，要警戒不守规矩的人，勉励灰心的人，扶助软弱的人，也要向众人忍耐。
También os rogamos, hermanos, que amonestéis a los ociosos, que alentéis a los de poco ánimo, que sostengáis a los débiles, que seáis pacientes para con todos.
Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all {men}. {exhort: or, beseech} {unruly: or, disorderly}

你们要谨慎，无论是谁都不可以恶报恶；或是彼此相待，或是待众人，常要追求良善。
Mirad que ninguno pague a otro mal por mal; antes seguid siempre lo bueno unos para con otros, y para con todos.
See that none render evil for evil unto any {man}; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all {men}.

要常常喜乐，
Estad siempre gozosos.
Rejoice evermore.

不住的祷告，
Orad sin cesar.
Pray without ceasing.
18
凡事谢恩；因为这是神在基督耶稣里向你们所定的旨意。
Dad gracias en todo, porque ésta es la voluntad de Dios para con vosotros en Cristo Jesús.
In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
19
不要销灭圣灵的感动；
No apaguéis al Espíritu.
Quench not the Spirit.
20
不要藐视先知的讲论。
No menospreciéis las profecías.
Despise not prophesyings.
21
但要凡事察验，善美的要持守，
Examinadlo todo; retened lo bueno.
Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.
22
各样的恶事要禁戒不做。
Absteneos de toda especie de mal.
Abstain from all appearance of evil.
23
愿赐平安的神亲自使你们全然成圣！又愿你们的灵与魂与身子得蒙保守，在我主耶稣基督降临的时候，完全无可指摘！
Y el mismo Dios de paz os santifique por completo; y todo vuestro ser, espíritu, alma y cuerpo, sea guardado irreprensible para la venida de nuestro Señor Jesucristo.
And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and {I pray God} your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

那召你们的本是信实的，他必成就这事。
Fiel es el que os llama, el cual también lo hará.
Faithful {is} he that calleth you, who also will do {it}.

请弟兄们为我们祷告。
Hermanos, orad por nosotros.
Brethren, pray for us.
26
与众弟兄亲嘴问安，务要圣洁。
Saludad a todos los hermanos con ósculo santo.
Greet all the brethren with an holy kiss.
27
我指著主嘱咐你们，要把这信念给众弟兄听。
Os conjuro por el Señor, que esta carta se lea a todos los santos hermanos.
I charge you by the Lord that this epistle be read unto all the holy brethren. {charge: or, adjure}

愿我主耶稣基督的恩常与你们同在！
La gracia de nuestro Señor Jesucristo sea con vosotros. Amén.
