此后，约伯开口咒诅自己的生日，
Después de esto abrió Job su boca, y maldijo su día.
After this opened Job his mouth, and cursed his day.

Y exclamó Job, y dijo:
And Job spake, and said, {spake: Heb. answered}

愿我生的那日和说怀了男胎的那夜都灭没。
Perezca el día en que yo nací,Y la noche en que se dijo: Varón es concebido.
Let the day perish wherein I was born, and the night {in which} it was said, There is a man child conceived.

愿那日变为黑暗；愿神不从上面寻找他；愿亮光不照于其上。
Sea aquel día sombrío,Y no cuide de él Dios desde arriba,Ni claridad sobre él resplandezca.
Let that day be darkness; let not God regard it from above, neither let the light shine upon it.

愿黑暗和死荫索取那日；愿密云停在其上；愿日蚀恐吓他。
Aféenlo tinieblas y sombra de muerte;Repose sobre él nubladoQue lo haga horrible como día caliginoso.
Let darkness and the shadow of death stain it; let a cloud dwell upon it; let the blackness of the day terrify it. {stain: or, challenge} {let the...: or, let them terrify it, as those who have a bitter day}

愿那夜被幽暗夺取，不在年中的日子同乐，也不入月中的数目。
Ocupe aquella noche la oscuridad;No sea contada entre los días del año,Ni venga en el número de los meses.
As {for} that night, let darkness seize upon it; let it not be joined unto the days of the year, let it not come into the number of the months. {let it not be...: or, let it not rejoice among the days}

愿那夜没有生育，其间也没有欢乐的声音。
¡Oh, que fuera aquella noche solitaria,Que no viniera canción alguna en ella!
Lo, let that night be solitary, let no joyful voice come therein.
8
愿那咒诅日子且能惹动鳄鱼的咒诅那夜。
Maldíganla los que maldicen el día,Los que se aprestan para despertar a Leviatán.
Let them curse it that curse the day, who are ready to raise up their mourning. {their...: or, leviathan}

愿那夜黎明的星宿变为黑暗，盼亮却不亮，也不见早晨的光线（原文是眼皮）；
Oscurézcanse las estrellas de su alba;Espere la luz, y no venga,Ni vea los párpados de la mañana;
Let the stars of the twilight thereof be dark; let it look for light, but {have} none; neither let it see the dawning of the day: {the dawning...: Heb. the eyelids of the morning}

因没有把怀我胎的门关闭，也没有将患难对我的眼隐藏。
Por cuanto no cerró las puertas del vientre donde yo estaba,Ni escondió de mis ojos la miseria.
Because it shut not up the doors of my {mother's} womb, nor hid sorrow from mine eyes.

我为何不出母胎而死？为何不出母腹绝气？
¿Por qué no morí yo en la matriz,O expiré al salir del vientre?
Why died I not from the womb? {why} did I {not} give up the ghost when I came out of the belly?

为何有膝接收我？为何有奶哺养我？
¿Por qué me recibieron las rodillas?¿Y a qué los pechos para que mamase?
Why did the knees prevent me? or why the breasts that I should suck?

不然，我就早已躺卧安睡，
Pues ahora estaría yo muerto, y reposaría;Dormiría, y entonces tendría descanso,
For now should I have lain still and been quiet, I should have slept: then had I been at rest,

和地上为自己重造荒邱的君王、谋士，
Con los reyes y con los consejeros de la tierra,Que reedifican para sí ruinas;
With kings and counsellors of the earth, which built desolate places for themselves;
15
或与有金子、将银子装满了房屋的王子一同安息；
O con los príncipes que poseían el oro,Que llenaban de plata sus casas.
Or with princes that had gold, who filled their houses with silver:
16
或像隐而未现、不到期而落的胎，归于无有，如同未见光的婴孩。
¿Por qué no fui escondido como abortivo,Como los pequeñitos que nunca vieron la luz?
Or as an hidden untimely birth I had not been; as infants {which} never saw light.
17
在那里恶人止息搅扰，困乏人得享安息，
Allí los impíos dejan de perturbar,Y allí descansan los de agotadas fuerzas.
There the wicked cease {from} troubling; and there the weary be at rest. {weary: Heb. wearied in strength}
18
被囚的人同得安逸，不听见督工的声音。
Allí también reposan los cautivos;No oyen la voz del capataz.
{There} the prisoners rest together; they hear not the voice of the oppressor.
19
大小都在那里；奴仆脱离主人的辖制。
Allí están el chico y el grande,Y el siervo libre de su señor.
The small and great are there; and the servant {is} free from his master.
20
受患难的人为何有光赐给他呢？心中愁苦的人为何有生命赐给他呢？
¿Por qué se da luz al trabajado,Y vida a los de ánimo amargado,
Wherefore is light given to him that is in misery, and life unto the bitter {in} soul;
21
他们切望死，却不得死；求死，胜于求隐藏的珍宝。
Que esperan la muerte, y ella no llega,Aunque la buscan más que tesoros;
Which long for death, but it {cometh} not; and dig for it more than for hid treasures; {long: Heb. wait}
22
他们寻见坟墓就快乐，极其欢喜。
Que se alegran sobremanera,Y se gozan cuando hallan el sepulcro?
Which rejoice exceedingly, {and} are glad, when they can find the grave?
23
人的道路既然遮隐，神又把他四面围困，为何有光赐给他呢？
¿Por qué se da vida al hombre que no sabe por dónde ha de ir,Y a quien Dios ha encerrado?
{Why is light given} to a man whose way is hid, and whom God hath hedged in?
24
我未曾吃饭就发出叹息；我唉哼的声音涌出如水。
Pues antes que mi pan viene mi suspiro,Y mis gemidos corren como aguas.
For my sighing cometh before I eat, and my roarings are poured out like the waters. {I eat: Heb. my meat}
25
因我所恐惧的临到我身，我所惧怕的迎我而来。
Porque el temor que me espantaba me ha venido,Y me ha acontecido lo que yo temía.
For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me. {the thing...: Heb. I feared a fear, and it came upon me}

我不得安逸，不得平静，也不得安息，却有患难来到。
No he tenido paz, no me aseguré, ni estuve reposado;No obstante, me vino turbación.
I was not in safety, neither had I rest, neither was I quiet; yet trouble came.
