罗波安往示剑去，因为以色列人都到了示剑，要立他作王。
Roboam fue a Siquem, porque en Siquem se había reunido todo Israel para hacerlo rey.
And Rehoboam went to Shechem: for to Shechem were all Israel come to make him king.

尼八的儿子耶罗波安先前躲避所罗门王，逃往埃及，住在那里；他听见这事，就从埃及回来。
Y cuando lo oyó Jeroboam hijo de Nabat, el cual estaba en Egipto, adonde había huido a causa del rey Salomón, volvió de Egipto.
And it came to pass, when Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who {was} in Egypt, whither he had fled from the presence of Solomon the king, heard {it}, that Jeroboam returned out of Egypt.

以色列人打发人去请他，他就和以色列众人来见罗波安，对他说：
Y enviaron y le llamaron. Vino, pues, Jeroboam, y todo Israel, y hablaron a Roboam, diciendo:
And they sent and called him. So Jeroboam and all Israel came and spake to Rehoboam, saying,

你父亲使我们负重轭做苦工，现在求你使我们做的苦工负的重轭轻松些，我们就事奉你。
Tu padre agravó nuestro yugo; ahora alivia algo de la dura servidumbre y del pesado yugo con que tu padre nos apremió, y te serviremos.
Thy father made our yoke grievous: now therefore ease thou somewhat the grievous servitude of thy father, and his heavy yoke that he put upon us, and we will serve thee.

罗波安对他们说：第三日再来见我罢！民就去了。
Y él les dijo: Volved a mí de aquí a tres días. Y el pueblo se fue.
And he said unto them, Come again unto me after three days. And the people departed.

罗波安之父所罗门在世的日子，有侍立在他面前的老年人，罗波安王和他们商议，说：你们给我出个甚么主意，我好回复这民。
Entonces el rey Roboam tomó consejo con los ancianos que habían estado delante de Salomón su padre cuando vivía, y les dijo: ¿Cómo aconsejáis vosotros que responda a este pueblo?
And king Rehoboam took counsel with the old men that had stood before Solomon his father while he yet lived, saying, What counsel give ye {me} to return answer to this people?

老年人对他说：王若恩待这民，使他们喜悦，用好话回复他们，他们就永远作王的仆人。
Y ellos le contestaron diciendo: Si te condujeres humanamente con este pueblo, y les agradares, y les hablares buenas palabras, ellos te servirán siempre.
And they spake unto him, saying, If thou be kind to this people, and please them, and speak good words to them, they will be thy servants for ever.

王却不用老年人给他出的主意，就和那些与他一同长大、在他面前侍立的少年人商议，
Mas él, dejando el consejo que le dieron los ancianos, tomó consejo con los jóvenes que se habían criado con él, y que estaban a su servicio.
But he forsook the counsel which the old men gave him, and took counsel with the young men that were brought up with him, that stood before him.

说：这民对我说：你父亲使我们负重轭，求你使我们轻松些；你们给我出个甚么主意，我好回复他们。
Y les dijo: ¿Qué aconsejáis vosotros que respondamos a este pueblo, que me ha hablado, diciendo: Alivia algo del yugo que tu padre puso sobre nosotros?
And he said unto them, What advice give ye that we may return answer to this people, which have spoken to me, saying, Ease somewhat the yoke that thy father did put upon us?

那同他长大的少年人说：这民对王说：你父亲使我们负重轭，求你使我们轻松些；王要对他们如此说：我的小拇指比我父亲的腰还粗；
Entonces los jóvenes que se habían criado con él, le contestaron: Así dirás al pueblo que te ha hablado diciendo: Tu padre agravó nuestro yugo, mas tú disminuye nuestra carga. Así les dirás: Mi dedo más pequeño es más grueso que los lomos de mi padre.
And the young men that were brought up with him spake unto him, saying, Thus shalt thou answer the people that spake unto thee, saying, Thy father made our yoke heavy, but make thou {it} somewhat lighter for us; thus shalt thou say unto them, My little {finger} shall be thicker than my father's loins.

我父亲使你们负重轭，我必使你们负更重的轭；我父亲用鞭子责打你们，我要用蝎子鞭责打你们。
Así que, si mi padre os cargó de yugo pesado, yo añadiré a vuestro yugo; mi padre os castigó con azotes, y yo con escorpiones.
For whereas my father put a heavy yoke upon you, I will put more to your yoke: my father chastised you with whips, but I {will chastise you} with scorpions. {my father put: Heb. my father laded}

耶罗波安和众百姓遵著罗波安王所说你们第三日再来见我的那话，第三日他们果然来了。
Vino, pues, Jeroboam con todo el pueblo a Roboam al tercer día, según el rey les había mandado diciendo: Volved a mí de aquí a tres días.
So Jeroboam and all the people came to Rehoboam on the third day, as the king bade, saying, Come again to me on the third day.

罗波安王用严厉的话回复他们，不用老年人所出的主意，
Y el rey les respondió ásperamente; pues dejó el rey Roboam el consejo de los ancianos,
And the king answered them roughly; and king Rehoboam forsook the counsel of the old men,
14
照著少年人所出的主意对他们说：我父亲使你们负重轭，我必使你们负更重的轭；我父亲用鞭子责打你们，我要用蝎子鞭责打你们。
y les habló conforme al consejo de los jóvenes, diciendo: Mi padre hizo pesado vuestro yugo, pero yo añadiré a vuestro yugo; mi padre os castigó con azotes, mas yo con escorpiones.
And answered them after the advice of the young men, saying, My father made your yoke heavy, but I will add thereto: my father chastised you with whips, but I {will chastise you} with scorpions.

王不肯依从百姓；这事乃出于神，为要应验耶和华藉示罗人亚希雅对尼八儿子耶罗波安所说的话。
Y no escuchó el rey al pueblo; porque la causa era de Dios, para que Jehová cumpliera la palabra que había hablado por Ahías silonita a Jeroboam hijo de Nabat.
So the king hearkened not unto the people: for the cause was of God, that the LORD might perform his word, which he spake by the hand of Ahijah the Shilonite to Jeroboam the son of Nebat.

以色列众民见王不依从他们，就对王说：我们与大卫有甚么分儿呢？与耶西的儿子并没有关涉！以色列人哪，各回各家去罢！大卫家啊，自己顾自己罢！于是，以色列众人都回自己家里去了。
Y viendo todo Israel que el rey no les había oído, respondió el pueblo al rey, diciendo: ¿Qué parte tenemos nosotros con David? No tenemos herencia en el hijo de Isaí. ¡Israel, cada uno a sus tiendas! ¡David, mira ahora por tu casa! Así se fue todo Israel a sus tiendas.
And when all Israel {saw} that the king would not hearken unto them, the people answered the king, saying, What portion have we in David? and {we have} none inheritance in the son of Jesse: every man to your tents, O Israel: {and} now, David, see to thine own house. So all Israel went to their tents.

惟独住在犹大城邑的以色列人，罗波安仍作他们的王。
Mas reinó Roboam sobre los hijos de Israel que habitaban en las ciudades de Judá.
But {as for} the children of Israel that dwelt in the cities of Judah, Rehoboam reigned over them.
18
罗波安王差遣掌管服苦之人的哈多兰往以色列人那里去，以色列人就用石头打死他。罗波安王急忙上车，逃回耶路撒冷去了。
Envió luego el rey Roboam a Adoram, que tenía cargo de los tributos; pero le apedrearon los hijos de Israel, y murió. Entonces se apresuró el rey Roboam, y subiendo en su carro huyó a Jerusalén.
Then king Rehoboam sent Hadoram that {was} over the tribute; and the children of Israel stoned him with stones, that he died. But king Rehoboam made speed to get him up to {his} chariot, to flee to Jerusalem. {made speed: Heb. strengthened himself}

这样，以色列人背叛大卫家，直到今日。
Así se apartó Israel de la casa de David hasta hoy.
And Israel rebelled against the house of David unto this day.
