乌斯地有一个人名叫约伯；那人完全正直，敬畏神，远离恶事。
Hubo en tierra de Uz un varón llamado Job; y era este hombre perfecto y recto, temeroso de Dios y apartado del mal.
There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name {was} Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.

他生了七个儿子，三个女儿。
Y le nacieron siete hijos y tres hijas.
And there were born unto him seven sons and three daughters.

他的家产有七千羊，三千骆驼，五百对牛，五百母驴，并有许多仆婢。这人在东方人中就为至大。
Su hacienda era siete mil ovejas, tres mil camellos, quinientas yuntas de bueyes, quinientas asnas, y muchísimos criados; y era aquel varón más grande que todos los orientales.
His substance also was seven thousand sheep, and three thousand camels, and five hundred yoke of oxen, and five hundred she asses, and a very great household; so that this man was the greatest of all the men of the east. {substance: or, cattle} {household: or, husbandry} {men: Heb. sons}

他的儿子按著日子各在自己家里设摆筵宴，就打发人去，请了他们的三个姊妹来，与他们一同吃喝。
E iban sus hijos y hacían banquetes en sus casas, cada uno en su día; y enviaban a llamar a sus tres hermanas para que comiesen y bebiesen con ellos.
And his sons went and feasted {in their} houses, every one his day; and sent and called for their three sisters to eat and to drink with them.

筵宴的日子过了，约伯打发人去叫他们自洁。他清早起来，按著他们众人的数目献燔祭；因为他说：恐怕我儿子犯了罪，心中弃掉神。约伯常常这样行。
Y acontecía que habiendo pasado en turno los días del convite, Job enviaba y los santificaba, y se levantaba de mañana y ofrecía holocaustos conforme al número de todos ellos. Porque decía Job: Quizá habrán pecado mis hijos, y habrán blasfemado contra Dios en sus corazones. De esta manera hacía todos los días.
And it was so, when the days of {their} feasting were gone about, that Job sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings {according} to the number of them all: for Job said, It may be that my sons have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts. Thus did Job continually. {continually: Heb. all the days}

有一天，神的众子来侍立在耶和华面前，撒但也来在其中。
Un día vinieron a presentarse delante de Jehová los hijos de Dios, entre los cuales vino también Satanás.
Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them. {Satan: Heb. the adversary} {among: Heb. in the midst of}

耶和华问撒但说：「你从哪里来？」撒但回答说：「我从地上走来走去，往返而来。」
Y dijo Jehová a Satanás: ¿De dónde vienes? Respondiendo Satanás a Jehová, dijo: De rodear la tierra y de andar por ella.
And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.

耶和华问撒但说：「你曾用心察看我的仆人约伯没有？地上再没有人像他完全正直，敬畏神，远离恶事。」
Y Jehová dijo a Satanás: ¿No has considerado a mi siervo Job, que no hay otro como él en la tierra, varón perfecto y recto, temeroso de Dios y apartado del mal?
And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that {there is} none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? {considered: Heb. set thy heart on}

撒但回答耶和华说：约伯敬畏神，岂是无故呢？
Respondiendo Satanás a Jehová, dijo: ¿Acaso teme Job a Dios de balde?
Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought?
10
你岂不是四面圈上篱笆围护他和他的家，并他一切所有的吗？他手所做的都蒙你赐福；他的家产也在地上增多。
¿No le has cercado alrededor a él y a su casa y a todo lo que tiene? Al trabajo de sus manos has dado bendición; por tanto, sus bienes han aumentado sobre la tierra.
Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land. {substance: or, cattle}

你且伸手毁他一切所有的；他必当面弃掉你。」
Pero extiende ahora tu mano y toca todo lo que tiene, y verás si no blasfema contra ti en tu misma presencia.
But put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he will curse thee to thy face. {and he...: Heb. if he curse thee not to thy face}

耶和华对撒但说：「凡他所有的都在你手中；只是不可伸手加害于他。」于是撒但从耶和华面前退去。
Dijo Jehová a Satanás: He aquí, todo lo que tiene está en tu mano; solamente no pongas tu mano sobre él. Y salió Satanás de delante de Jehová.
And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath {is} in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the LORD. {power: Heb. hand}

有一天，约伯的儿女正在他们长兄的家里吃饭喝酒，
Y un día aconteció que sus hijos e hijas comían y bebían vino en casa de su hermano el primogénito,
And there was a day when his sons and his daughters {were} eating and drinking wine in their eldest brother's house:
14
有报信的来见约伯，说：牛正耕地，驴在旁边吃草，
y vino un mensajero a Job, y le dijo: Estaban arando los bueyes, y las asnas paciendo cerca de ellos,
And there came a messenger unto Job, and said, The oxen were plowing, and the asses feeding beside them:
15
示巴人忽然闯来，把牲畜掳去，并用刀杀了仆人；惟有我一人逃脱，来报信给你。」
y acometieron los sabeos y los tomaron, y mataron a los criados a filo de espada; solamente escapé yo para darte la noticia.
And the Sabeans fell {upon them}, and took them away; yea, they have slain the servants with the edge of the sword; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee.

他还说话的时候，又有人来说：「神从天上降下火来，将群羊和仆人都烧灭了；惟有我一人逃脱，来报信给你。」
Aún estaba éste hablando, cuando vino otro que dijo: Fuego de Dios cayó del cielo, que quemó las ovejas y a los pastores, y los consumió; solamente escapé yo para darte la noticia.
While he {was} yet speaking, there came also another, and said, The fire of God is fallen from heaven, and hath burned up the sheep, and the servants, and consumed them; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee. {The fire...: or, A great fire}

他还说话的时候，又有人来说：「迦勒底人分作三队忽然闯来，把骆驼掳去，并用刀杀了仆人；惟有我一人逃脱，来报信给你。」
Todavía estaba éste hablando, y vino otro que dijo: Los caldeos hicieron tres escuadrones, y arremetieron contra los camellos y se los llevaron, y mataron a los criados a filo de espada; y solamente escapé yo para darte la noticia.
While he {was} yet speaking, there came also another, and said, The Chaldeans made out three bands, and fell upon the camels, and have carried them away, yea, and slain the servants with the edge of the sword; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee. {fell: Heb. rushed}

他还说话的时候，又有人来说：你的儿女正在他们长兄的家里吃饭喝酒，
Entre tanto que éste hablaba, vino otro que dijo: Tus hijos y tus hijas estaban comiendo y bebiendo vino en casa de su hermano el primogénito;
While he {was} yet speaking, there came also another, and said, Thy sons and thy daughters {were} eating and drinking wine in their eldest brother's house:

不料，有狂风从旷野刮来，击打房屋的四角，房屋倒塌在少年人身上，他们就都死了；惟有我一人逃脱，来报信给你。」
y un gran viento vino del lado del desierto y azotó las cuatro esquinas de la casa, la cual cayó sobre los jóvenes, y murieron; y solamente escapé yo para darte la noticia.
And, behold, there came a great wind from the wilderness, and smote the four corners of the house, and it fell upon the young men, and they are dead; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee. {from...: Heb. from aside, etc}

约伯便起来，撕裂外袍，剃了头，伏在地上下拜，
Entonces Job se levantó, y rasgó su manto, y rasuró su cabeza, y se postró en tierra y adoró,
Then Job arose, and rent his mantle, and shaved his head, and fell down upon the ground, and worshipped, {mantle: or, robe}

说：「我赤身出于母胎，也必赤身归回；赏赐的是耶和华，收取的也是耶和华。耶和华的名是应当称颂的。」
y dijo: Desnudo salí del vientre de mi madre, y desnudo volveré allá. Jehová dio, y Jehová quitó; sea el nombre de Jehová bendito.
And said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD.

在这一切的事上约伯并不犯罪，也不以神为愚妄（或译：也不妄评 神）。
En todo esto no pecó Job, ni atribuyó a Dios despropósito alguno.
In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly. {charged...: or, attributed folly to God}
