我保罗，就是与你们见面的时候是谦卑的，不在你们那里的时候向你们是勇敢的，如今亲自藉著基督的温柔、和平劝你们。
Yo Pablo os ruego por la mansedumbre y ternura de Cristo, yo que estando presente ciertamente soy humilde entre vosotros, mas ausente soy osado para con vosotros;
Now I Paul myself beseech you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ, who in presence {am} base among you, but being absent am bold toward you: {in presence: or, in outward appearance}

有人以为我是凭著血气行事，我也以为必须用勇敢待这等人；求你们不要叫我在你们那里的时候，有这样的勇敢。
ruego, pues, que cuando esté presente, no tenga que usar de aquella osadía con que estoy dispuesto a proceder resueltamente contra algunos que nos tienen como si anduviésemos según la carne.
But I beseech {you}, that I may not be bold when I am present with that confidence, wherewith I think to be bold against some, which think of us as if we walked according to the flesh. {think: or, reckon}

因为我们虽然在血气中行事，却不凭著血气争战。
Pues aunque andamos en la carne, no militamos según la carne;
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:

我们争战的兵器本不是属血气的，乃是在神面前有能力，可以攻破坚固的营垒，
porque las armas de nuestra milicia no son carnales, sino poderosas en Dios para la destrucción de fortalezas,
(For the weapons of our warfare {are} not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) {through God: or, to God}

将各样的计谋，各样拦阻人认识神的那些自高之事，一概攻破了，又将人所有的心意夺回，使他都顺服基督。
derribando argumentos y toda altivez que se levanta contra el conocimiento de Dios, y llevando cautivo todo pensamiento a la obediencia a Cristo,
Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; {imaginations: or, reasonings}

并且我已经预备好了，等你们十分顺服的时候，要责罚那一切不顺服的人。
y estando prontos para castigar toda desobediencia, cuando vuestra obediencia sea perfecta.
And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.

你们是看眼前的么？倘若有人自信是属基督的，他要再想想，他如何属基督，我们也是如何属基督的。
Miráis las cosas según la apariencia. Si alguno está persuadido en sí mismo que es de Cristo, esto también piense por sí mismo, que como él es de Cristo, así también nosotros somos de Cristo.
Do ye look on things after the outward appearance? If any man trust to himself that he is Christ's, let him of himself think this again, that, as he {is} Christ's, even so {are} we Christ's.

主赐给我们权柄，是要造就你们，并不是要败坏你们；我就是为这权柄稍微夸口，也不至于惭愧。
Porque aunque me gloríe algo más todavía de nuestra autoridad, la cual el Señor nos dio para edificación y no para vuestra destrucción, no me avergonzaré;
For though I should boast somewhat more of our authority, which the Lord hath given us for edification, and not for your destruction, I should not be ashamed:

我说这话，免得你们以为我写信是要威吓你们；
para que no parezca como que os quiero amedrentar por cartas.
That I may not seem as if I would terrify you by letters.

因为有人说：他的信又沉重又利害，及至见面，却是气貌不扬，言语粗俗的。
Porque a la verdad, dicen, las cartas son duras y fuertes; mas la presencia corporal débil, y la palabra menospreciable.
For {his} letters, say they, {are} weighty and powerful; but {his} bodily presence {is} weak, and {his} speech contemptible. {say they: Gr. saith he}

这等人当想，我们不在那里的时候，信上的言语如何，见面的时候，行事也必如何。
Esto tenga en cuenta tal persona, que así como somos en la palabra por cartas, estando ausentes, lo seremos también en hechos, estando presentes.
Let such an one think this, that, such as we are in word by letters when we are absent, such {will we be} also in deed when we are present.

因为我们不敢将自己和那自荐的人同列相比。他们用自己度量自己，用自己比较自己，乃是不通达的。
Porque no nos atrevemos a contarnos ni a compararnos con algunos que se alaban a sí mismos; pero ellos, midiéndose a sí mismos por sí mismos, y comparándose consigo mismos, no son juiciosos.
For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise. {are...: or, understand it not}

我们不愿意分外夸口，只要照神所量给我们的界限搆到你们那里。
Pero nosotros no nos gloriaremos desmedidamente, sino conforme a la regla que Dios nos ha dado por medida, para llegar también hasta vosotros.
But we will not boast of things without {our} measure, but according to the measure of the rule which God hath distributed to us, a measure to reach even unto you. {rule: or, line}

我们并非过了自己的界限，好像搆不到你们那里；因为我们早到你们那里，传了基督的福音。
Porque no nos hemos extralimitado, como si no llegásemos hasta vosotros, pues fuimos los primeros en llegar hasta vosotros con el evangelio de Cristo.
For we stretch not ourselves beyond {our measure}, as though we reached not unto you: for we are come as far as to you also in {preaching} the gospel of Christ:

我们不仗著别人所劳碌的，分外夸口；但指望你们信心增长的时候，所量给我们的界限，就可以因著你们更加开展，
No nos gloriamos desmedidamente en trabajos ajenos, sino que esperamos que conforme crezca vuestra fe seremos muy engrandecidos entre vosotros, conforme a nuestra regla;
Not boasting of things without {our} measure, {that is}, of other men's labours; but having hope, when your faith is increased, that we shall be enlarged by you according to our rule abundantly, {enlarged...: or, magnified in you}

得以将福音传到你们以外的地方；并不是在别人界限之内，藉著他现成的事夸口。
y que anunciaremos el evangelio en los lugares más allá de vosotros, sin entrar en la obra de otro para gloriarnos en lo que ya estaba preparado.
To preach the gospel in the {regions} beyond you, {and} not to boast in another man's line of things made ready to our hand. {line: or, rule}

但夸口的，当指著主夸口。
Mas el que se gloría, gloríese en el Señor;
But he that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.
18
因为蒙悦纳的，不是自己称许的，乃是主所称许的。
porque no es aprobado el que se alaba a sí mismo, sino aquel a quien Dios alaba.
For not he that commendeth himself is approved, but whom the Lord commendeth.
