银子有矿；炼金有方。
Ciertamente la plata tiene sus veneros,Y el oro lugar donde se refina.
Surely there is a vein for the silver, and a place for gold {where} they fine {it}. {vein: or, mine}

铁从地里挖出；铜从石中镕化。
El hierro se saca del polvo,Y de la piedra se funde el cobre.
Iron is taken out of the earth, and brass {is} molten {out of} the stone. {earth: or, dust}

人为黑暗定界限，查究幽暗阴翳的石头，直到极处，
A las tinieblas ponen término,Y examinan todo a la perfección,Las piedras que hay en oscuridad y en sombra de muerte.
He setteth an end to darkness, and searcheth out all perfection: the stones of darkness, and the shadow of death.

在无人居住之处刨开矿穴，过路的人也想不到他们；又与人远离，悬在空中摇来摇去。
Abren minas lejos de lo habitado,En lugares olvidados, donde el pie no pasa.Son suspendidos y balanceados, lejos de los demás hombres.
The flood breaketh out from the inhabitant; {even the waters} forgotten of the foot: they are dried up, they are gone away from men.

至于地，能出粮食，地内好像被火翻起来。
De la tierra nace el pan,Y debajo de ella está como convertida en fuego.
{As for} the earth, out of it cometh bread: and under it is turned up as it were fire.

地中的石头有蓝宝石，并有金沙。
Lugar hay cuyas piedras son zafiro,Y sus polvos de oro.
The stones of it {are} the place of sapphires: and it hath dust of gold. {dust...: or, gold ore}

矿中的路鸷鸟不得知道；鹰眼也未见过。
Senda que nunca la conoció ave,Ni ojo de buitre la vio;
{There is} a path which no fowl knoweth, and which the vulture's eye hath not seen:

狂傲的野兽未曾行过；猛烈的狮子也未曾经过。
Nunca la pisaron animales fieros,Ni león pasó por ella.
The lion's whelps have not trodden it, nor the fierce lion passed by it.

人伸手凿开坚石，倾倒山根，
En el pedernal puso su mano,Y trastornó de raíz los montes.
He putteth forth his hand upon the rock; he overturneth the mountains by the roots. {rock: or, flint}

在磐石中凿出水道，亲眼看见各样宝物。
De los peñascos cortó ríos,Y sus ojos vieron todo lo preciado.
He cutteth out rivers among the rocks; and his eye seeth every precious thing.

他封闭水不得滴流，使隐藏的物显露出来。
Detuvo los ríos en su nacimiento,E hizo salir a luz lo escondido.
He bindeth the floods from overflowing; and {the thing that is} hid bringeth he forth to light. {overflowing: Heb. weeping}

然而，智慧有何处可寻？聪明之处在哪里呢？
Mas ¿dónde se hallará la sabiduría?¿Dónde está el lugar de la inteligencia?
But where shall wisdom be found? and where {is} the place of understanding?

智慧的价值无人能知，在活人之地也无处可寻。
No conoce su valor el hombre,Ni se halla en la tierra de los vivientes.
Man knoweth not the price thereof; neither is it found in the land of the living.

深渊说：不在我内；沧海说：不在我中。
El abismo dice: No está en mí;Y el mar dijo: Ni conmigo.
The depth saith, It {is} not in me: and the sea saith, {It is} not with me.

智慧非用黄金可得，也不能平白银为他的价值。
No se dará por oro,Ni su precio será a peso de plata.
It cannot be gotten for gold, neither shall silver be weighed {for} the price thereof. {It...: Heb. Fine gold shall not be given for it}
16
俄斐金和贵重的红玛瑙，并蓝宝石，不足与较量；
No puede ser apreciada con oro de Ofir,Ni con ónice precioso, ni con zafiro.
It cannot be valued with the gold of Ophir, with the precious onyx, or the sapphire.
17
黄金和玻璃不足与比较；精金的器皿不足与兑换。
El oro no se le igualará, ni el diamante,Ni se cambiará por alhajas de oro fino.
The gold and the crystal cannot equal it: and the exchange of it {shall not be for} jewels of fine gold. {jewels...: or, vessels of}

珊瑚、水晶都不足论；智慧的价值胜过珍珠（或译：红宝石）。
No se hará mención de coral ni de perlas;La sabiduría es mejor que las piedras preciosas.
No mention shall be made of coral, or of pearls: for the price of wisdom {is} above rubies. {coral: or, Ramoth}

古实的红璧玺不足与比较；精金也不足与较量。
No se igualará con ella topacio de Etiopía;No se podrá apreciar con oro fino.
The topaz of Ethiopia shall not equal it, neither shall it be valued with pure gold.

智慧从何处来呢？聪明之处在哪里呢？
¿De dónde, pues, vendrá la sabiduría?¿Y dónde está el lugar de la inteligencia?
Whence then cometh wisdom? and where {is} the place of understanding?

是向一切有生命的眼目隐藏，向空中的飞鸟掩蔽。
Porque encubierta está a los ojos de todo viviente,Y a toda ave del cielo es oculta.
Seeing it is hid from the eyes of all living, and kept close from the fowls of the air. {air: or, heaven}

灭没和死亡说：我们风闻其名。
El Abadón y la muerte dijeron:Su fama hemos oído con nuestros oídos.
Destruction and death say, We have heard the fame thereof with our ears.

神明白智慧的道路，晓得智慧的所在。
Dios entiende el camino de ella,Y conoce su lugar.
God understandeth the way thereof, and he knoweth the place thereof.
24
因他鉴察直到地极，遍观普天之下，
Porque él mira hasta los fines de la tierra,Y ve cuanto hay bajo los cielos.
For he looketh to the ends of the earth, {and} seeth under the whole heaven;
25
要为风定轻重，又度量诸水；
Al dar peso al viento,Y poner las aguas por medida;
To make the weight for the winds; and he weigheth the waters by measure.
26
他为雨露定命令，为雷电定道路。
Cuando él dio ley a la lluvia,Y camino al relámpago de los truenos,
When he made a decree for the rain, and a way for the lightning of the thunder:

那时他看见智慧，而且述说；他坚定，并且查究。
Entonces la veía él, y la manifestaba;La preparó y la descubrió también.
Then did he see it, and declare it; he prepared it, yea, and searched it out. {declare...: or, number it}

他对人说：敬畏主就是智慧；远离恶便是聪明。
Y dijo al hombre:He aquí que el temor del Señor es la sabiduría,Y el apartarse del mal, la inteligencia.
And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that {is} wisdom; and to depart from evil {is} understanding.
