保罗和西拉经过暗妃波里、亚波罗尼亚，来到帖撒罗尼迦，在那里有犹太人的会堂。
Pasando por Anfípolis y Apolonia, llegaron a Tesalónica, donde había una sinagoga de los judíos.
Now when they had passed through Amphipolis and Apollonia, they came to Thessalonica, where was a synagogue of the Jews:

保罗照他素常的规矩进去，一连三个安息日，本著圣经与他们辩论，
Y Pablo, como acostumbraba, fue a ellos, y por tres días de reposo discutió con ellos,
And Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three sabbath days reasoned with them out of the scriptures,

讲解陈明基督必须受害，从死里复活；又说：我所传与你们的这位耶稣就是基督。
declarando y exponiendo por medio de las Escrituras, que era necesario que el Cristo padeciese, y resucitase de los muertos; y que Jesús, a quien yo os anuncio, decía él, es el Cristo.
Opening and alleging, that Christ must needs have suffered, and risen again from the dead; and that this Jesus, whom I preach unto you, is Christ. {whom...: or, whom, said he, I preach}

他们中间有些人听了劝，就附从保罗和西拉，并有许多虔敬的希利尼人，尊贵的妇女也不少。
Y algunos de ellos creyeron, y se juntaron con Pablo y con Silas; y de los griegos piadosos gran número, y mujeres nobles no pocas.
And some of them believed, and consorted with Paul and Silas; and of the devout Greeks a great multitude, and of the chief women not a few.

但那不信的犹太人心里嫉妒，招聚了些市井匪类，搭伙成群，耸动合城的人闯进耶孙的家，要将保罗、西拉带到百姓那里。
Entonces los judíos que no creían, teniendo celos, tomaron consigo a algunos ociosos, hombres malos, y juntando una turba, alborotaron la ciudad; y asaltando la casa de Jasón, procuraban sacarlos al pueblo.
But the Jews which believed not, moved with envy, took unto them certain lewd fellows of the baser sort, and gathered a company, and set all the city on an uproar, and assaulted the house of Jason, and sought to bring them out to the people.

找不著他们，就把耶孙和几个弟兄拉到地方官那里，喊叫说：那搅乱天下的也到这里来了，
Pero no hallándolos, trajeron a Jasón y a algunos hermanos ante las autoridades de la ciudad, gritando: Estos que trastornan el mundo entero también han venido acá;
And when they found them not, they drew Jason and certain brethren unto the rulers of the city, crying, These that have turned the world upside down are come hither also;

耶孙收留他们。这些人都违背该撒的命令，说另有一个王耶稣。
a los cuales Jasón ha recibido; y todos estos contravienen los decretos de César, diciendo que hay otro rey, Jesús.
Whom Jason hath received: and these all do contrary to the decrees of Caesar, saying that there is another king, {one} Jesus.

众人和地方官听见这话，就惊慌了；
Y alborotaron al pueblo y a las autoridades de la ciudad, oyendo estas cosas.
And they troubled the people and the rulers of the city, when they heard these things.

于是取了耶孙和其余之人的保状，就释放了他们。
Pero obtenida fianza de Jasón y de los demás, los soltaron.
And when they had taken security of Jason, and of the other, they let them go.

弟兄们随即在夜间打发保罗和西拉往庇哩亚去。二人到了，就进入犹太人的会堂。
Inmediatamente, los hermanos enviaron de noche a Pablo y a Silas hasta Berea. Y ellos, habiendo llegado, entraron en la sinagoga de los judíos.
And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming {thither} went into the synagogue of the Jews.

这地方的人贤于帖撒罗尼迦的人，甘心领受这道，天天考查圣经，要晓得这道是与不是。
Y éstos eran más nobles que los que estaban en Tesalónica, pues recibieron la palabra con toda solicitud, escudriñando cada día las Escrituras para ver si estas cosas eran así.
These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

所以他们中间多有相信的，又有希利尼尊贵的妇女，男子也不少。
Así que creyeron muchos de ellos, y mujeres griegas de distinción, y no pocos hombres.
Therefore many of them believed; also of honourable women which were Greeks, and of men, not a few.

但帖撒罗尼迦的犹太人知道保罗又在庇哩亚传神的道，也就往那里去，耸动搅扰众人。
Cuando los judíos de Tesalónica supieron que también en Berea era anunciada la palabra de Dios por Pablo, fueron allá, y también alborotaron a las multitudes.
But when the Jews of Thessalonica had knowledge that the word of God was preached of Paul at Berea, they came thither also, and stirred up the people.

当时弟兄们便打发保罗往海边去，西拉和提摩太仍住在庇哩亚。
Pero inmediatamente los hermanos enviaron a Pablo que fuese hacia el mar; y Silas y Timoteo se quedaron allí.
And then immediately the brethren sent away Paul to go as it were to the sea: but Silas and Timotheus abode there still.

送保罗的人带他到了雅典，既领了保罗的命，叫西拉和提摩太速速到他这里来，就回去了。
Y los que se habían encargado de conducir a Pablo le llevaron a Atenas; y habiendo recibido orden para Silas y Timoteo, de que viniesen a él lo más pronto que pudiesen, salieron.
And they that conducted Paul brought him unto Athens: and receiving a commandment unto Silas and Timotheus for to come to him with all speed, they departed.

保罗在雅典等候他们的时候，看见满城都是偶像，就心里著急；
Mientras Pablo los esperaba en Atenas, su espíritu se enardecía viendo la ciudad entregada a la idolatría.
Now while Paul waited for them at Athens, his spirit was stirred in him, when he saw the city wholly given to idolatry. {wholly...: or, full of idols}

于是在会堂里与犹太人和虔敬的人，并每日在市上所遇见的人，辩论。
Así que discutía en la sinagoga con los judíos y piadosos, y en la plaza cada día con los que concurrían.
Therefore disputed he in the synagogue with the Jews, and with the devout persons, and in the market daily with them that met with him.

还有以彼古罗和斯多亚两门的学士，与他争论。有的说：这胡言乱语的要说甚么？有的说：他似乎是传说外邦鬼神的。这话是因保罗传讲耶稣与复活的道。
Y algunos filósofos de los epicúreos y de los estoicos disputaban con él; y unos decían: ¿Qué querrá decir este palabrero? Y otros: Parece que es predicador de nuevos dioses; porque les predicaba el evangelio de Jesús, y de la resurrección.
Then certain philosophers of the Epicureans, and of the Stoicks, encountered him. And some said, What will this babbler say? other some, He seemeth to be a setter forth of strange gods: because he preached unto them Jesus, and the resurrection. {babbler: or, base fellow}

他们就把他带到亚略巴古，说：你所讲的这新道，我们也可以知道么？
Y tomándole, le trajeron al Areópago, diciendo: ¿Podremos saber qué es esta nueva enseñanza de que hablas?
And they took him, and brought him unto Areopagus, saying, May we know what this new doctrine, whereof thou speakest, {is}? {Areopagus: or, Mars' hill: it was the highest court in Athens}

因为你有些奇怪的事传到我们耳中，我们愿意知道这些事是甚么意思。
Pues traes a nuestros oídos cosas extrañas. Queremos, pues, saber qué quiere decir esto.
For thou bringest certain strange things to our ears: we would know therefore what these things mean.

（雅典人和住在那里的客人都不顾别的事，只将新闻说说听听。）
(Porque todos los atenienses y los extranjeros residentes allí, en ninguna otra cosa se interesaban sino en decir o en oír algo nuevo.)
(For all the Athenians and strangers which were there spent their time in nothing else, but either to tell, or to hear some new thing.)

保罗站在亚略巴古当中，说：众位雅典人哪，我看你们凡事很敬畏鬼神。
Entonces Pablo, puesto en pie en medio del Areópago, dijo: Varones atenienses, en todo observo que sois muy religiosos;
Then Paul stood in the midst of Mars' hill, and said, {Ye} men of Athens, I perceive that in all things ye are too superstitious. {Mars' hill: or, the court of the Areopagites}

我游行的时候，观看你们所敬拜的，遇见一座坛，上面写著未识之神。你们所不认识而敬拜的，我现在告诉你们。
porque pasando y mirando vuestros santuarios, hallé también un altar en el cual estaba esta inscripción: AL DIOS NO CONOCIDO. Al que vosotros adoráis, pues, sin conocerle, es a quien yo os anuncio.
For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you. {devotions: or, gods that ye worship}

创造宇宙和其中万物的神，既是天地的主，就不住人手所造的殿，
El Dios que hizo el mundo y todas las cosas que en él hay, siendo Señor del cielo y de la tierra, no habita en templos hechos por manos humanas,
God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;

也不用人手服事，好像缺少甚么；自己倒将生命、气息、万物，赐给万人。
ni es honrado por manos de hombres, como si necesitase de algo; pues él es quien da a todos vida y aliento y todas las cosas.
Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;

他从一本（有古卷作血脉）造出万族的人，住在全地上，并且预先定准他们的年限和所住的疆界，
Y de una sangre ha hecho todo el linaje de los hombres, para que habiten sobre toda la faz de la tierra; y les ha prefijado el orden de los tiempos, y los límites de su habitación;
And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;

要叫他们寻求神，或者可以揣摩而得，其实他离我们各人不远；
para que busquen a Dios, si en alguna manera, palpando, puedan hallarle, aunque ciertamente no está lejos de cada uno de nosotros.
That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:

我们生活、动作、存留，都在乎他。就如你们作诗的，有人说：我们也是他所生的。
Porque en él vivimos, y nos movemos, y somos; como algunos de vuestros propios poetas también han dicho: Porque linaje suyo somos.
For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

我们既是神所生的，就不当以为神的神性像人用手艺、心思所雕刻的金、银、石。
Siendo, pues, linaje de Dios, no debemos pensar que la Divinidad sea semejante a oro, o plata, o piedra, escultura de arte y de imaginación de hombres.
Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.

世人蒙昧无知的时候，神并不监察，如今却吩咐各处的人都要悔改。
Pero Dios, habiendo pasado por alto los tiempos de esta ignorancia, ahora manda a todos los hombres en todo lugar, que se arrepientan;
And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:

因为他已经定了日子，要藉著他所设立的人按公义审判天下，并且叫他从死里复活，给万人作可信的凭据。
por cuanto ha establecido un día en el cual juzgará al mundo con justicia, por aquel varón a quien designó, dando fe a todos con haberle levantado de los muertos.
Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by {that} man whom he hath ordained; {whereof} he hath given assurance unto all {men}, in that he hath raised him from the dead. {hath given...: or, offered faith}

众人听见从死里复活的话，就有讥诮他的；又有人说：我们再听你讲这个罢！
Pero cuando oyeron lo de la resurrección de los muertos, unos se burlaban, y otros decían: Ya te oiremos acerca de esto otra vez.
And when they heard of the resurrection of the dead, some mocked: and others said, We will hear thee again of this {matter}.

于是保罗从他们当中出去了。
Y así Pablo salió de en medio de ellos.
So Paul departed from among them.

但有几个人贴近他，信了主，其中有亚略巴古的官丢尼修，并一个妇人，名叫大马哩，还有别人一同信从。
Mas algunos creyeron, juntándose con él; entre los cuales estaba Dionisio el areopagita, una mujer llamada Dámaris, y otros con ellos.
Howbeit certain men clave unto him, and believed: among the which {was} Dionysius the Areopagite, and a woman named Damaris, and others with them.
