法老攻击迦萨之先，有耶和华论非利士人的话临到先知耶利米。
Palabra de Jehová que vino al profeta Jeremías acerca de los filisteos, antes que Faraón destruyese a Gaza.
The word of the LORD that came to Jeremiah the prophet against the Philistines, before that Pharaoh smote Gaza. {Gaza: Heb. Azzah}

耶和华如此说：有水从北方发起，成为涨溢的河，要涨过遍地和其中所有的，并城和其中所住的。人必呼喊；境内的居民都必哀号。
Así ha dicho Jehová: He aquí que suben aguas del norte, y se harán torrente; inundarán la tierra y su plenitud, la ciudad y los moradores de ella; y los hombres clamarán, y lamentará todo morador de la tierra.
Thus saith the LORD; Behold, waters rise up out of the north, and shall be an overflowing flood, and shall overflow the land, and all that is therein; the city, and them that dwell therein: then the men shall cry, and all the inhabitants of the land shall howl. {all that...: Heb. the fulness thereof}

听见敌人壮马蹄跳的响声和战车隆隆、车轮轰轰；为父的手就发软，不回头看顾儿女。
Por el sonido de los cascos de sus caballos, por el alboroto de sus carros, por el estruendo de sus ruedas, los padres no cuidaron a los hijos por la debilidad de sus manos;
At the noise of the stamping of the hoofs of his strong {horses}, at the rushing of his chariots, {and at} the rumbling of his wheels, the fathers shall not look back to {their} children for feebleness of hands;

因为日子将到，要毁灭一切非利士人，剪除帮助推罗、西顿所剩下的人。原来耶和华必毁灭非利士人，就是迦斐托海岛余剩的人。
a causa del día que viene para destrucción de todos los filisteos, para destruir a Tiro y a Sidón todo aliado que les queda todavía; porque Jehová destruirá a los filisteos, al resto de la costa de Caftor.
Because of the day that cometh to spoil all the Philistines, {and} to cut off from Tyrus and Zidon every helper that remaineth: for the LORD will spoil the Philistines, the remnant of the country of Caphtor. {the country: Heb. the isle}

迦萨成了光秃；平原中所剩的亚实基伦归于无有。你用刀划身，要到几时呢？
Gaza fue rapada, Ascalón ha perecido, y el resto de su valle; ¿hasta cuándo te sajarás?
Baldness is come upon Gaza; Ashkelon is cut off {with} the remnant of their valley: how long wilt thou cut thyself?

耶和华的刀剑哪，你到几时才止息呢？你要入鞘，安靖不动。
Oh espada de Jehová, ¿hasta cuándo reposarás? Vuelve a tu vaina, reposa y sosiégate.
O thou sword of the LORD, how long {will it be} ere thou be quiet? put up thyself into thy scabbard, rest, and be still. {put...: Heb. gather thyself}

耶和华既吩咐你攻击亚实基伦和海边之地，他已经派定你，焉能止息呢？
¿Cómo reposarás? pues Jehová te ha enviado contra Ascalón, y contra la costa del mar, allí te puso.
