拿玛人琐法回答说：
Respondió Zofar naamatita, y dijo:
Then answered Zophar the Naamathite, and said,

这许多的言语岂不该回答么？多嘴多舌的人岂可称为义么？
¿Las muchas palabras no han de tener respuesta?¿Y el hombre que habla mucho será justificado?
Should not the multitude of words be answered? and should a man full of talk be justified? {full...: Heb. of lips}

你夸大的话岂能使人不作声么？你戏笑的时候岂没有人叫你害羞么？
¿Harán tus falacias callar a los hombres?¿Harás escarnio y no habrá quien te avergüence?
Should thy lies make men hold their peace? and when thou mockest, shall no man make thee ashamed? {lies: or, devices}

你说：我的道理纯全；我在你眼前洁净。
Tú dices: Mi doctrina es pura,Y yo soy limpio delante de tus ojos.
For thou hast said, My doctrine {is} pure, and I am clean in thine eyes.

惟愿神说话；愿他开口攻击你，
Mas ¡oh, quién diera que Dios hablara,Y abriera sus labios contigo,
But oh that God would speak, and open his lips against thee;

并将智慧的奥秘指示你；他有诸般的智识。所以当知道神追讨你比你罪孽该得的还少。
Y te declarara los secretos de la sabiduría,Que son de doble valor que las riquezas!Conocerías entonces que Dios te ha castigado menos de lo que tu iniquidad merece.
And that he would shew thee the secrets of wisdom, that {they are} double to that which is! Know therefore that God exacteth of thee {less} than thine iniquity {deserveth}.

你考察就能测透神吗？你岂能尽情测透全能者吗？
¿Descubrirás tú los secretos de Dios?¿Llegarás tú a la perfección del Todopoderoso?
Canst thou by searching find out God? canst thou find out the Almighty unto perfection?

他的智慧高于天，你还能做甚么？深于阴间，你还能知道甚么？
Es más alta que los cielos; ¿qué harás?Es más profunda que el Seol; ¿cómo la conocerás?
{It is} as high as heaven; what canst thou do? deeper than hell; what canst thou know? {as high...: Heb. the heights of heaven}

其量比地长，比海宽。
Su dimensión es más extensa que la tierra,Y más ancha que el mar.
The measure thereof {is} longer than the earth, and broader than the sea.

他若经过，将人拘禁，招人受审，谁能阻挡他呢？
Si él pasa, y aprisiona, y llama a juicio,¿Quién podrá contrarrestarle?
If he cut off, and shut up, or gather together, then who can hinder him? {cut...: or, make a change} {hinder...: Heb. turn him away?}

他本知道虚妄的人；人的罪孽，他虽不留意，还是无所不见。
Porque él conoce a los hombres vanos;Ve asimismo la iniquidad, ¿y no hará caso?
For he knoweth vain men: he seeth wickedness also; will he not then consider {it}?

空虚的人却毫无知识；人生在世好像野驴的驹子。
El hombre vano se hará entendido,Cuando un pollino de asno montés nazca hombre.
For vain man would be wise, though man be born {like} a wild ass's colt. {vain: Heb. empty}

你若将心安正，又向主举手；
Si tú dispusieres tu corazón,Y extendieres a él tus manos;
If thou prepare thine heart, and stretch out thine hands toward him;
14
你手里若有罪孽，就当远远地除掉，也不容非义住在你帐棚之中。
Si alguna iniquidad hubiere en tu mano, y la echares de ti,Y no consintieres que more en tu casa la injusticia,
If iniquity {be} in thine hand, put it far away, and let not wickedness dwell in thy tabernacles.

那时，你必仰起脸来毫无斑点；你也必坚固，无所惧怕。
Entonces levantarás tu rostro limpio de mancha,Y serás fuerte, y nada temerás;
For then shalt thou lift up thy face without spot; yea, thou shalt be stedfast, and shalt not fear:
16
你必忘记你的苦楚，就是想起也如流过去的水一样。
Y olvidarás tu miseria,O te acordarás de ella como de aguas que pasaron.
Because thou shalt forget {thy} misery, {and} remember {it} as waters {that} pass away:

你在世的日子要比正午更明，虽有黑暗仍像早晨。
La vida te será más clara que el mediodía;Aunque oscureciere, será como la mañana.
And {thine} age shall be clearer than the noonday; thou shalt shine forth, thou shalt be as the morning. {be clearer...: Heb. arise above}

你因有指望就必稳固，也必四围巡查，坦然安息。
Tendrás confianza, porque hay esperanza;Mirarás alrededor, y dormirás seguro.
And thou shalt be secure, because there is hope; yea, thou shalt dig {about thee, and} thou shalt take thy rest in safety.

你躺卧，无人惊吓，且有许多人向你求恩。
Te acostarás, y no habrá quien te espante;Y muchos suplicarán tu favor.
Also thou shalt lie down, and none shall make {thee} afraid; yea, many shall make suit unto thee. {make suit...: Heb. intreat thy face}
20
但恶人的眼目必要失明。他们无路可逃；他们的指望就是气绝。
Pero los ojos de los malos se consumirán,Y no tendrán refugio;Y su esperanza será dar su último suspiro.
But the eyes of the wicked shall fail, and they shall not escape, and their hope {shall be as} the giving up of the ghost. {they shall...: Heb. flight shall perish from them} {the giving...: or, a puff of breath}
