约伯回答说：
Respondió entonces Job, diciendo:
And Job answered and said,

你们真是子民哪，你们死亡，智慧也就灭没了。
Ciertamente vosotros sois el pueblo,Y con vosotros morirá la sabiduría.
No doubt but ye {are} the people, and wisdom shall die with you.
3
但我也有聪明，与你们一样，并非不及你们。你们所说的，谁不知道呢？
También tengo yo entendimiento como vosotros;No soy yo menos que vosotros;¿Y quién habrá que no pueda decir otro tanto?
But I have understanding as well as you; I {am} not inferior to you: yea, who knoweth not such things as these? {understanding: Heb. an heart} {I am...: Heb. I fall not lower than you} {who...: Heb. with whom are not such as these?}

我这求告神、蒙他应允的人竟成了朋友所讥笑的；公义完全人竟受了人的讥笑。
Yo soy uno de quien su amigo se mofa,Que invoca a Dios, y él le responde;Con todo, el justo y perfecto es escarnecido.
I am {as} one mocked of his neighbour, who calleth upon God, and he answereth him: the just upright {man is} laughed to scorn.

安逸的人心里藐视灾祸；这灾祸常常等待滑脚的人。
Aquel cuyos pies van a resbalarEs como una lámpara despreciada de aquel que está a sus anchas.
He that is ready to slip with {his} feet {is as} a lamp despised in the thought of him that is at ease.
6
强盗的帐棚兴旺，惹神的人稳固，神多将财物送到他们手中。
Prosperan las tiendas de los ladrones,Y los que provocan a Dios viven seguros,En cuyas manos él ha puesto cuanto tienen.
The tabernacles of robbers prosper, and they that provoke God are secure; into whose hand God bringeth {abundantly}.

你且问走兽，走兽必指教你；又问空中的飞鸟，飞鸟必告诉你；
Y en efecto, pregunta ahora a las bestias, y ellas te enseñarán;A las aves de los cielos, y ellas te lo mostrarán;
But ask now the beasts, and they shall teach thee; and the fowls of the air, and they shall tell thee:

或与地说话，地必指教你；海中的鱼也必向你说明。
O habla a la tierra, y ella te enseñará;Los peces del mar te lo declararán también.
Or speak to the earth, and it shall teach thee: and the fishes of the sea shall declare unto thee.

看这一切，谁不知道是耶和华的手做成的呢？
¿Qué cosa de todas estas no entiendeQue la mano de Jehová la hizo?
Who knoweth not in all these that the hand of the LORD hath wrought this?
10
凡活物的生命和人类的气息都在他手中。
En su mano está el alma de todo viviente,Y el hálito de todo el género humano.
In whose hand {is} the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind. {soul: or, life} {all...: Heb. all flesh of man}

耳朵岂不试验言语，正如上膛尝食物么？
Ciertamente el oído distingue las palabras,Y el paladar gusta las viandas.
Doth not the ear try words? and the mouth taste his meat? {mouth: Heb. palate}
12
年老的有智慧；寿高的有知识。
En los ancianos está la ciencia,Y en la larga edad la inteligencia.
With the ancient {is} wisdom; and in length of days understanding.
13
在神有智慧和能力；他有谋略和知识。
Con Dios está la sabiduría y el poder;Suyo es el consejo y la inteligencia.
With him {is} wisdom and strength, he hath counsel and understanding. {With...: that is, With God}
14
他拆毁的，就不能再建造；他捆住人，便不得开释。
Si él derriba, no hay quien edifique;Encerrará al hombre, y no habrá quien le abra.
Behold, he breaketh down, and it cannot be built again: he shutteth up a man, and there can be no opening. {up: Heb. upon}
15
他把水留住，水便枯干；他再发出水来，水就翻地。
Si él detiene las aguas, todo se seca;Si las envía, destruyen la tierra.
Behold, he withholdeth the waters, and they dry up: also he sendeth them out, and they overturn the earth.
16
在他有能力和智慧，被诱惑的与诱惑人的都是属他。
Con él está el poder y la sabiduría;Suyo es el que yerra, y el que hace errar.
With him {is} strength and wisdom: the deceived and the deceiver {are} his.
17
他把谋士剥衣掳去，又使审判官变成愚人。
Él hace andar despojados de consejo a los consejeros,Y entontece a los jueces.
He leadeth counsellors away spoiled, and maketh the judges fools.
18
他放松君王的绑，又用带子捆他们的腰。
Él rompe las cadenas de los tiranos,Y les ata una soga a sus lomos.
He looseth the bond of kings, and girdeth their loins with a girdle.
19
他把祭司剥衣掳去，又使有能的人倾败。
Él lleva despojados a los príncipes,Y trastorna a los poderosos.
He leadeth princes away spoiled, and overthroweth the mighty.
20
他废去忠信人的讲论，又夺去老人的聪明。
Priva del habla a los que dicen verdad,Y quita a los ancianos el consejo.
He removeth away the speech of the trusty, and taketh away the understanding of the aged. {speech...: Heb. lip of the faithful}
21
他使君王蒙羞被辱，放松有力之人的腰带。
Él derrama menosprecio sobre los príncipes,Y desata el cinto de los fuertes.
He poureth contempt upon princes, and weakeneth the strength of the mighty. {weakeneth...: or, looseth the girdle of the strong}
22
他将深奥的事从黑暗中彰显，使死荫显为光明。
Él descubre las profundidades de las tinieblas,Y saca a luz la sombra de muerte.
He discovereth deep things out of darkness, and bringeth out to light the shadow of death.
23
他使邦国兴旺而又毁灭；他使邦国开广而又掳去。
Él multiplica las naciones, y él las destruye;Esparce a las naciones, y las vuelve a reunir.
He increaseth the nations, and destroyeth them: he enlargeth the nations, and straiteneth them {again}. {straiteneth: Heb. leadeth in}

他将地上民中首领的聪明夺去，使他们在荒废无路之地漂流；
Él quita el entendimiento a los jefes del pueblo de la tierra,Y los hace vagar como por un yermo sin camino.
He taketh away the heart of the chief of the people of the earth, and causeth them to wander in a wilderness {where there is} no way.

他们无光，在黑暗中摸索，又使他们东倒西歪，像醉酒的人一样。
Van a tientas, como en tinieblas y sin luz,Y los hace errar como borrachos.
They grope in the dark without light, and he maketh them to stagger like {a} drunken {man}. {stagger: Heb. wander}
