提幔人以利法回答说：
Respondió Elifaz temanita, y dijo:
Then Eliphaz the Temanite answered and said,

人岂能使神有益呢？智慧人但能有益于己。
¿Traerá el hombre provecho a Dios?Al contrario, para sí mismo es provechoso el hombre sabio.
Can a man be profitable unto God, as he that is wise may be profitable unto himself? {as he...: or, if he may be profitable, doth his good success depend thereon?}

你为人公义，岂叫全能者喜悦呢？你行为完全，岂能使他得利呢？
¿Tiene contentamiento el Omnipotente en que tú seas justificado,O provecho de que tú hagas perfectos tus caminos?
{Is it} any pleasure to the Almighty, that thou art righteous? or {is it} gain {to him}, that thou makest thy ways perfect?

岂是因你敬畏他就责备你、审判你么？
¿Acaso te castiga,O viene a juicio contigo, a causa de tu piedad?
Will he reprove thee for fear of thee? will he enter with thee into judgment?

你的罪恶岂不是大么？你的罪孽也没有穷尽；
Por cierto tu malicia es grande,Y tus maldades no tienen fin.
{Is} not thy wickedness great? and thine iniquities infinite?

因你无故强取弟兄的物为当头，剥去贫寒人的衣服。
Porque sacaste prenda a tus hermanos sin causa,Y despojaste de sus ropas a los desnudos.
For thou hast taken a pledge from thy brother for nought, and stripped the naked of their clothing. {the naked...: Heb. the clothes of the naked}

困乏的人，你没有给他水喝；饥饿的人，你没有给他食物。
No diste de beber agua al cansado,Y detuviste el pan al hambriento.
Thou hast not given water to the weary to drink, and thou hast withholden bread from the hungry.

有能力的人就得地土；尊贵的人也住在其中。
Pero el hombre pudiente tuvo la tierra,Y habitó en ella el distinguido.
But {as for} the mighty man, he had the earth; and the honourable man dwelt in it. {mighty...: Heb. man of arm} {honourable...: Heb. eminent, or, accepted for countenance}

你打发寡妇空手回去，折断孤儿的膀臂。
A las viudas enviaste vacías,Y los brazos de los huérfanos fueron quebrados.
Thou hast sent widows away empty, and the arms of the fatherless have been broken.
10
因此，有网罗环绕你，有恐惧忽然使你惊惶；
Por tanto, hay lazos alrededor de ti,Y te turba espanto repentino;
Therefore snares {are} round about thee, and sudden fear troubleth thee;

或有黑暗蒙蔽你，并有洪水淹没你。
O tinieblas, para que no veas,Y abundancia de agua te cubre.
Or darkness, {that} thou canst not see; and abundance of waters cover thee.

神岂不是在高天么？你看星宿何其高呢！
¿No está Dios en la altura de los cielos?Mira lo encumbrado de las estrellas, cuán elevadas están.
{Is} not God in the height of heaven? and behold the height of the stars, how high they are! {height of the stars: Heb. head of the stars}

你说：神知道甚么？他岂能看透幽暗施行审判呢？
¿Y dirás tú: Qué sabe Dios?¿Cómo juzgará a través de la oscuridad?
And thou sayest, How doth God know? can he judge through the dark cloud? {How: or, What}
14
密云将他遮盖，使他不能看见；他周游穹苍。
Las nubes le rodearon, y no ve;Y por el circuito del cielo se pasea.
Thick clouds {are} a covering to him, that he seeth not; and he walketh in the circuit of heaven.
15
你要依从上古的道么？这道是恶人所行的。
¿Quieres tú seguir la senda antiguaQue pisaron los hombres perversos,
Hast thou marked the old way which wicked men have trodden?
16
他们未到死期，忽然除灭；根基毁坏，好像被江河冲去。
Los cuales fueron cortados antes de tiempo,Cuyo fundamento fue como un río derramado?
Which were cut down out of time, whose foundation was overflown with a flood: {whose...: Heb. a flood was poured upon their foundation}
17
他们向神说：离开我们罢！又说：全能者能把我们怎么样呢？
Decían a Dios: Apártate de nosotros.¿Y qué les había hecho el Omnipotente?
Which said unto God, Depart from us: and what can the Almighty do for them? {for: or, to}
18
哪知神以美物充满他们的房屋；但恶人所谋定的离我好远。
Les había colmado de bienes sus casas.Pero sea el consejo de ellos lejos de mí.
Yet he filled their houses with good {things}: but the counsel of the wicked is far from me.
19
义人看见他们的结局就欢喜；无辜的人嗤笑他们，
Verán los justos y se gozarán;Y el inocente los escarnecerá, diciendo:
The righteous see {it}, and are glad: and the innocent laugh them to scorn.
20
说：那起来攻击我们的果然被剪除，其余的都被火烧灭。
Fueron destruidos nuestros adversarios,Y el fuego consumió lo que de ellos quedó.
Whereas our substance is not cut down, but the remnant of them the fire consumeth. {substance: or, estate} {the remnant...: or, their excellency}

你要认识神，就得平安；福气也必临到你。
Vuelve ahora en amistad con él, y tendrás paz;Y por ello te vendrá bien.
Acquaint now thyself with him, and be at peace: thereby good shall come unto thee. {him: that is, God}
22
你当领受他口中的教训，将他的言语存在心里。
Toma ahora la ley de su boca,Y pon sus palabras en tu corazón.
Receive, I pray thee, the law from his mouth, and lay up his words in thine heart.
23
你若归向全能者，从你帐棚中远除不义，就必得建立。
Si te volvieres al Omnipotente, serás edificado;Alejarás de tu tienda la aflicción;
If thou return to the Almighty, thou shalt be built up, thou shalt put away iniquity far from thy tabernacles.
24
要将你的珍宝丢在尘土里，将俄斐的黄金丢在溪河石头之间；
Tendrás más oro que tierra,Y como piedras de arroyos oro de Ofir;
Then shalt thou lay up gold as dust, and the {gold} of Ophir as the stones of the brooks. {as dust: or, on the dust}

全能者就必为你的珍宝，作你的宝银。
El Todopoderoso será tu defensa,Y tendrás plata en abundancia.
Yea, the Almighty shall be thy defence, and thou shalt have plenty of silver. {defence: or, gold} {plenty...: Heb. silver of strength}

你就要以全能者为喜乐，向神仰起脸来。
Porque entonces te deleitarás en el Omnipotente,Y alzarás a Dios tu rostro.
For then shalt thou have thy delight in the Almighty, and shalt lift up thy face unto God.
27
你要祷告他，他就听你；你也要还你的愿。
Orarás a él, y él te oirá;Y tú pagarás tus votos.
Thou shalt make thy prayer unto him, and he shall hear thee, and thou shalt pay thy vows.
28
你定意要做何事，必然给你成就；亮光也必照耀你的路。
Determinarás asimismo una cosa, y te será firme,Y sobre tus caminos resplandecerá luz.
Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.
29
人使你降卑，你仍可说：必得高升；谦卑的人，神必然拯救。
Cuando fueren abatidos, dirás tú: Enaltecimiento habrá;Y Dios salvará al humilde de ojos.
When {men} are cast down, then thou shalt say, {There is} lifting up; and he shall save the humble person. {the humble...: Heb. him that hath low eyes}

人非无辜，神且要搭救他；他因你手中清洁，必蒙拯救。
Él libertará al inocente,Y por la limpieza de tus manos éste será librado.
He shall deliver the island of the innocent: and it is delivered by the pureness of thine hands. {He shall...: or, The innocent shall deliver the island}
