他们壮年的气力既已衰败，其手之力与我何益呢？
¿Y de qué me serviría ni aun la fuerza de sus manos?No tienen fuerza alguna.
Yea, whereto {might} the strength of their hands {profit} me, in whom old age was perished?

他们因穷乏饥饿，身体枯瘦，在荒废凄凉的幽暗中，龈干燥之地，
Por causa de la pobreza y del hambre andaban solos;Huían a la soledad, a lugar tenebroso, asolado y desierto.
For want and famine {they were} solitary; fleeing into the wilderness in former time desolate and waste. {solitary: or, dark as the night} {in...: Heb. yesternight}

在草丛之中采咸草，罗腾（小树名，松类）的根为他们的食物。
Recogían malvas entre los arbustos,Y raíces de enebro para calentarse.
Who cut up mallows by the bushes, and juniper roots {for} their meat.

他们从人中被赶出；人追喊他们如贼一般，
Eran arrojados de entre las gentes,Y todos les daban grita como tras el ladrón.
They were driven forth from among {men}, (they cried after them as {after} a thief;)

以致他们住在荒谷之间，在地洞和岩穴中；
Habitaban en las barrancas de los arroyos,En las cavernas de la tierra, y en las rocas.
To dwell in the clifts of the valleys, {in} caves of the earth, and {in} the rocks. {caves: Heb. holes}

在草丛中叫唤，在荆棘下聚集。
Bramaban entre las matas,Y se reunían debajo de los espinos.
Among the bushes they brayed; under the nettles they were gathered together.

这都是愚顽下贱人的儿女；他们被鞭打，赶出境外。
Hijos de viles, y hombres sin nombre,Más bajos que la misma tierra.
{They were} children of fools, yea, children of base men: they were viler than the earth. {base...: Heb. men of no name}

现在这些人以我为歌曲，以我为笑谈。
Y ahora yo soy objeto de su burla,Y les sirvo de refrán.
And now am I their song, yea, I am their byword.

他们厌恶我，躲在旁边站著，不住地吐唾沫在我脸上。
Me abominan, se alejan de mí,Y aun de mi rostro no detuvieron su saliva.
They abhor me, they flee far from me, and spare not to spit in my face. {and...: Heb. and withhold not spittle from}

松开他们的绳索苦待我，在我面前脱去辔头。
Porque Dios desató su cuerda, y me afligió,Por eso se desenfrenaron delante de mi rostro.
Because he hath loosed my cord, and afflicted me, they have also let loose the bridle before me.

这等下流人在我右边起来，推开我的脚，筑成战路来攻击我。
A la mano derecha se levantó el populacho;Empujaron mis pies,Y prepararon contra mí caminos de perdición.
Upon {my} right {hand} rise the youth; they push away my feet, and they raise up against me the ways of their destruction.

这些无人帮助的，毁坏我的道，加增我的灾。
Mi senda desbarataron,Se aprovecharon de mi quebrantamiento,Y contra ellos no hubo ayudador.
They mar my path, they set forward my calamity, they have no helper.

他们来如同闯进大破口，在毁坏之间滚在我身上。
Vinieron como por portillo ancho,Se revolvieron sobre mi calamidad.
They came {upon me} as a wide breaking in {of waters}: in the desolation they rolled themselves {upon me}.
15
惊恐临到我，驱逐我的尊荣如风；我的福禄如云过去。
Se han revuelto turbaciones sobre mí;Combatieron como viento mi honor,Y mi prosperidad pasó como nube.
Terrors are turned upon me: they pursue my soul as the wind: and my welfare passeth away as a cloud. {my soul: Heb. my principal one}

现在我心极其悲伤；困苦的日子将我抓住。
Y ahora mi alma está derramada en mí;Días de aflicción se apoderan de mí.
And now my soul is poured out upon me; the days of affliction have taken hold upon me.

夜间，我里面的骨头刺我，疼痛不止，好像龈我。
La noche taladra mis huesos,Y los dolores que me roen no reposan.
My bones are pierced in me in the night season: and my sinews take no rest.

因神的大力，我的外衣污秽不堪，又如里衣的领子将我缠住。
La violencia deforma mi vestidura; me ciñe como el cuello de mi túnica.
By the great force {of my disease} is my garment changed: it bindeth me about as the collar of my coat.

神把我扔在淤泥中，我就像尘土和炉灰一般。
Él me derribó en el lodo,Y soy semejante al polvo y a la ceniza.
He hath cast me into the mire, and I am become like dust and ashes.
20
主啊，我呼求你，你不应允我；我站起来，你就定睛看我。
Clamo a ti, y no me oyes;Me presento, y no me atiendes.
I cry unto thee, and thou dost not hear me: I stand up, and thou regardest me {not}.

你向我变心，待我残忍，又用大能追逼我，
Te has vuelto cruel para mí;Con el poder de tu mano me persigues.
Thou art become cruel to me: with thy strong hand thou opposest thyself against me. {become...: Heb. turned to be cruel} {thy...: Heb. the strength of thy hand}

把我提在风中，使我驾风而行，又使我消灭在烈风中。
Me alzaste sobre el viento, me hiciste cabalgar en él,Y disolviste mi sustancia.
Thou liftest me up to the wind; thou causest me to ride {upon it}, and dissolvest my substance. {substance: or, wisdom}

我知道要使我临到死地，到那为众生所定的阴宅。
Porque yo sé que me conduces a la muerte,Y a la casa determinada a todo viviente.
For I know {that} thou wilt bring me {to} death, and {to} the house appointed for all living.

然而，人仆倒岂不伸手？遇灾难岂不求救呢？
Mas él no extenderá la mano contra el sepulcro;¿Clamarán los sepultados cuando él los quebrantare?
Howbeit he will not stretch out {his} hand to the grave, though they cry in his destruction. {grave: Heb. heap}

人遭难，我岂不为他哭泣呢？人穷乏，我岂不为他忧愁呢？
¿No lloré yo al afligido?Y mi alma, ¿no se entristeció sobre el menesteroso?
Did not I weep for him that was in trouble? was {not} my soul grieved for the poor? {in trouble: Heb. hard of day?}

我仰望得好处，灾祸就到了；我等待光明，黑暗便来了。
Cuando esperaba yo el bien, entonces vino el mal;Y cuando esperaba luz, vino la oscuridad.
When I looked for good, then evil came {unto me}: and when I waited for light, there came darkness.

我心里烦扰不安，困苦的日子临到我身。
Mis entrañas se agitan, y no reposan;Días de aflicción me han sobrecogido.
My bowels boiled, and rested not: the days of affliction prevented me.

我没有日光就哀哭行去（或译：我面发黑并非因日晒）；我在会中站著求救。
Ando ennegrecido, y no por el sol;Me he levantado en la congregación, y clamado.
I went mourning without the sun: I stood up, {and} I cried in the congregation.

我与野狗为弟兄，与鸵鸟为同伴。
He venido a ser hermano de chacales,Y compañero de avestruces.
I am a brother to dragons, and a companion to owls. {owls: or, ostriches}

我的皮肤黑而脱落；我的骨头因热烧焦。
Mi piel se ha ennegrecido y se me cae,Y mis huesos arden de calor.
My skin is black upon me, and my bones are burned with heat.

所以，我的琴音变为悲音；我的箫声变为哭声。
Se ha cambiado mi arpa en luto,Y mi flauta en voz de lamentadores.
My harp also is {turned} to mourning, and my organ into the voice of them that weep.
