以利户又说：
Prosiguió Eliú en su razonamiento, y dijo:
Elihu spake moreover, and said,

你以为有理，或以为你的公义胜于神的公义，
¿Piensas que es cosa recta lo que has dicho:Más justo soy yo que Dios?
Thinkest thou this to be right, {that} thou saidst, My righteousness {is} more than God's?

才说这与我有甚么益处？我不犯罪比犯罪有甚么好处呢？
Porque dijiste: ¿Qué ventaja sacaré de ello?¿O qué provecho tendré de no haber pecado?
For thou saidst, What advantage will it be unto thee? {and}, What profit shall I have, {if I be cleansed} from my sin? {if...: or, by it more than by my sin}

我要回答你和在你这里的朋友。
Yo te responderé razones,Y a tus compañeros contigo.
I will answer thee, and thy companions with thee. {answer...: Heb. return to thee words}

你要向天观看，瞻望那高于你的穹苍。
Mira a los cielos, y ve,Y considera que las nubes son más altas que tú.
Look unto the heavens, and see; and behold the clouds {which} are higher than thou.

你若犯罪，能使神受何害呢？你的过犯加增，能使神受何损呢？
Si pecares, ¿qué habrás logrado contra él?Y si tus rebeliones se multiplicaren, ¿qué le harás tú?
If thou sinnest, what doest thou against him? or {if} thy transgressions be multiplied, what doest thou unto him?

你若是公义，还能加增他甚么呢？他从你手里还接受甚么呢？
Si fueres justo, ¿qué le darás a él?¿O qué recibirá de tu mano?
If thou be righteous, what givest thou him? or what receiveth he of thine hand?

你的过恶或能害你这类的人；你的公义或能叫世人得益处。
Al hombre como tú dañará tu impiedad,Y al hijo de hombre aprovechará tu justicia.
Thy wickedness {may hurt} a man as thou {art}; and thy righteousness {may profit} the son of man.

人因多受欺压就哀求，因受能者的辖制（原文是膀臂）便求救，
A causa de la multitud de las violencias claman,Y se lamentan por el poderío de los grandes.
By reason of the multitude of oppressions they make {the oppressed} to cry: they cry out by reason of the arm of the mighty.

却无人说：造我的神在哪里？他使人夜间歌唱，
Y ninguno dice: ¿Dónde está Dios mi Hacedor,Que da cánticos en la noche,
But none saith, Where {is} God my maker, who giveth songs in the night;

教训我们胜于地上的走兽，使我们有聪明胜于空中的飞鸟。
Que nos enseña más que a las bestias de la tierra,Y nos hace sabios más que a las aves del cielo?
Who teacheth us more than the beasts of the earth, and maketh us wiser than the fowls of heaven?

他们在那里，因恶人的骄傲呼求，却无人答应。
Allí clamarán, y él no oirá,Por la soberbia de los malos.
There they cry, but none giveth answer, because of the pride of evil men.
13
虚妄的呼求，神必不垂听；全能者也必不眷顾。
Ciertamente Dios no oirá la vanidad,Ni la mirará el Omnipotente.
Surely God will not hear vanity, neither will the Almighty regard it.
14
何况你说，你不得见他；你的案件在他面前，你等候他罢。
¿Cuánto menos cuando dices que no haces caso de él?La causa está delante de él; por tanto, aguárdale.
Although thou sayest thou shalt not see him, {yet} judgment {is} before him; therefore trust thou in him.
15
但如今因他未曾发怒降罚，也不甚理会狂傲，
Mas ahora, porque en su ira no castiga,Ni inquiere con rigor,
But now, because {it is} not {so}, he hath visited in his anger; yet he knoweth {it} not in great extremity: {he hath: that is, God hath} {he knoweth: that is, Job knoweth}

所以约伯开口说虚妄的话，多发无知识的言语。
Por eso Job abre su boca vanamente,Y multiplica palabras sin sabiduría.
Therefore doth Job open his mouth in vain; he multiplieth words without knowledge.
