Ahora, pues, da voces; ¿habrá quien te responda?¿Y a cuál de los santos te volverás?
Call now, if there be any that will answer thee; and to which of the saints wilt thou turn? {turn: or, look?}

忿怒害死愚妄人；嫉妒杀死痴迷人。
Es cierto que al necio lo mata la ira,Y al codicioso lo consume la envidia.
For wrath killeth the foolish man, and envy slayeth the silly one. {envy: or, indignation}

我曾见愚妄人扎下根，但我忽然咒诅他的住处。
Yo he visto al necio que echaba raíces,Y en la misma hora maldije su habitación.
I have seen the foolish taking root: but suddenly I cursed his habitation.

他的儿女远离稳妥的地步，在城门口被压，并无人搭救。
Sus hijos estarán lejos de la seguridad;En la puerta serán quebrantados,Y no habrá quien los libre.
His children are far from safety, and they are crushed in the gate, neither {is there} any to deliver {them}.

他的庄稼有饥饿的人吃尽了，就是在荆棘里的也抢去了；他的财宝有网罗张口吞灭了。
Su mies comerán los hambrientos,Y la sacarán de entre los espinos,Y los sedientos beberán su hacienda.
Whose harvest the hungry eateth up, and taketh it even out of the thorns, and the robber swalloweth up their substance.

祸患原不是从土中出来；患难也不是从地里发生。
Porque la aflicción no sale del polvo,Ni la molestia brota de la tierra.
Although affliction cometh not forth of the dust, neither doth trouble spring out of the ground; {affliction: or, iniquity}

人生在世必遇患难，如同火星飞腾。
Pero como las chispas se levantan para volar por el aire,Así el hombre nace para la aflicción.
Yet man is born unto trouble, as the sparks fly upward. {trouble: or, labour} {sparks...: Heb. the sons of the burning coal lift up to fly}

至于我，我必仰望神，把我的事情托付他。
Ciertamente yo buscaría a Dios,Y encomendaría a él mi causa;
I would seek unto God, and unto God would I commit my cause:

他行大事不可测度，行奇事不可胜数：
El cual hace cosas grandes e inescrutables,Y maravillas sin número;
Which doeth great things and unsearchable; marvellous things without number: {unsearchable: Heb. there is no search} {without...: Heb. till there be no number}

降雨在地上，赐水于田里；
Que da la lluvia sobre la faz de la tierra,Y envía las aguas sobre los campos;
Who giveth rain upon the earth, and sendeth waters upon the fields: {fields: Heb. outplaces}
11
将卑微的安置在高处，将哀痛的举到稳妥之地；
Que pone a los humildes en altura,Y a los enlutados levanta a seguridad;
To set up on high those that be low; that those which mourn may be exalted to safety.
12
破坏狡猾人的计谋，使他们所谋的不得成就。
Que frustra los pensamientos de los astutos,Para que sus manos no hagan nada;
He disappointeth the devices of the crafty, so that their hands cannot perform {their} enterprise. {their enterprise: or, any thing}

他叫有智慧的中了自己的诡计，使狡诈人的计谋速速灭亡。
Que prende a los sabios en la astucia de ellos,Y frustra los designios de los perversos.
He taketh the wise in their own craftiness: and the counsel of the froward is carried headlong.

他们白昼遇见黑暗，午间摸索如在夜间。
De día tropiezan con tinieblas,Y a mediodía andan a tientas como de noche.
They meet with darkness in the daytime, and grope in the noonday as in the night. {meet...: or, run into}
15
神拯救穷乏人脱离他们口中的刀和强暴人的手。
Así libra de la espada al pobre, de la boca de los impíos,Y de la mano violenta;
But he saveth the poor from the sword, from their mouth, and from the hand of the mighty.
16
这样，贫寒的人有指望，罪孽之辈必塞口无言。
Pues es esperanza al menesteroso,Y la iniquidad cerrará su boca.
So the poor hath hope, and iniquity stoppeth her mouth.
17
神所惩治的人是有福的！所以你不可轻看全能者的管教。
He aquí, bienaventurado es el hombre a quien Dios castiga;Por tanto, no menosprecies la corrección del Todopoderoso.
Behold, happy {is} the man whom God correcteth: therefore despise not thou the chastening of the Almighty:

因为他打破，又缠裹；他击伤，用手医治。
Porque él es quien hace la llaga, y él la vendará;Él hiere, y sus manos curan.
For he maketh sore, and bindeth up: he woundeth, and his hands make whole.
19
你六次遭难，他必救你；就是七次，灾祸也无法害你。
En seis tribulaciones te librará,Y en la séptima no te tocará el mal.
He shall deliver thee in six troubles: yea, in seven there shall no evil touch thee.
20
在饥荒中，他必救你脱离死亡；在争战中，他必救你脱离刀剑的权力。
En el hambre te salvará de la muerte,Y del poder de la espada en la guerra.
In famine he shall redeem thee from death: and in war from the power of the sword. {power: Heb. hands}
21
你必被隐藏，不受口舌之害；灾殃临到，你也不惧怕。
Del azote de la lengua serás encubierto;No temerás la destrucción cuando viniere.
Thou shalt be hid from the scourge of the tongue: neither shalt thou be afraid of destruction when it cometh. {from...: or, when the tongue scourgeth}

你遇见灾害饥馑，就必嬉笑；地上的野兽，你也不惧怕。
De la destrucción y del hambre te reirás,Y no temerás de las fieras del campo;
At destruction and famine thou shalt laugh: neither shalt thou be afraid of the beasts of the earth.
23
因为你必与田间的石头立约；田里的野兽也必与你和好。
Pues aun con las piedras del campo tendrás tu pacto,Y las fieras del campo estarán en paz contigo.
For thou shalt be in league with the stones of the field: and the beasts of the field shall be at peace with thee.
24
你必知道你帐棚平安，要查看你的羊圈，一无所失；
Sabrás que hay paz en tu tienda;Visitarás tu morada, y nada te faltará.
And thou shalt know that thy tabernacle {shall be} in peace; and thou shalt visit thy habitation, and shalt not sin. {thy tabernacle...: or, peace is thy tabernacle} {sin: or, err}

也必知道你的后裔将来发达，你的子孙像地上的青草。
Asimismo echarás de ver que tu descendencia es mucha,Y tu prole como la hierba de la tierra.
Thou shalt know also that thy seed {shall be} great, and thine offspring as the grass of the earth. {great: or, much}

你必寿高年迈才归坟墓，好像禾捆到时收藏。
Vendrás en la vejez a la sepultura,Como la gavilla de trigo que se recoge a su tiempo.
Thou shalt come to {thy} grave in a full age, like as a shock of corn cometh in in his season. {cometh in: Heb. ascendeth}

这理，我们已经考察，本是如此。你须要听，要知道是与自己有益。
He aquí lo que hemos inquirido, lo cual es así;Óyelo, y conócelo tú para tu provecho.
Lo this, we have searched it, so it {is}; hear it, and know thou {it} for thy good. {for...: Heb. for thyself}
