Mejor es el pobre que camina en integridad,Que el de perversos labios y fatuo.
Better {is} the poor that walketh in his integrity, than {he that is} perverse in his lips, and is a fool.

心无知识的，乃为不善；脚步急快的，难免犯罪。
El alma sin ciencia no es buena,Y aquel que se apresura con los pies, peca.
Also, {that} the soul {be} without knowledge, {it is} not good; and he that hasteth with {his} feet sinneth.

人的愚昧倾败他的道；他的心也抱怨耶和华。
La insensatez del hombre tuerce su camino,Y luego contra Jehová se irrita su corazón.
The foolishness of man perverteth his way: and his heart fretteth against the LORD.

财物使朋友增多；但穷人朋友远离。
Las riquezas traen muchos amigos;Mas el pobre es apartado de su amigo.
Wealth maketh many friends; but the poor is separated from his neighbour.

作假见证的，必不免受罚；吐出谎言的，终不能逃脱。
El testigo falso no quedará sin castigo,Y el que habla mentiras no escapará.
A false witness shall not be unpunished, and {he that} speaketh lies shall not escape. {unpunished: Heb. held innocent}

好施散的，有多人求他的恩情；爱送礼的，人都为他的朋友。
Muchos buscan el favor del generoso,Y cada uno es amigo del hombre que da.
Many will intreat the favour of the prince: and every man {is} a friend to him that giveth gifts. {him...: Heb. a man of gifts}

贫穷人，弟兄都恨他；何况他的朋友，更远离他！他用言语追随，他们却走了。
Todos los hermanos del pobre le aborrecen;¡Cuánto más sus amigos se alejarán de él!Buscará la palabra, y no la hallará.
All the brethren of the poor do hate him: how much more do his friends go far from him? he pursueth {them with} words, {yet} they {are} wanting {to him}.

得著智慧的，爱惜生命；保守聪明的，必得好处。
El que posee entendimiento ama su alma;El que guarda la inteligencia hallará el bien.
He that getteth wisdom loveth his own soul: he that keepeth understanding shall find good. {wisdom: Heb. an heart}

作假见证的，不免受罚；吐出谎言的，也必灭亡。
El testigo falso no quedará sin castigo,Y el que habla mentiras perecerá.
A false witness shall not be unpunished, and {he that} speaketh lies shall perish.

愚昧人宴乐度日是不合宜的；何况仆人管辖王子呢？
No conviene al necio el deleite;¡Cuánto menos al siervo ser señor de los príncipes!
Delight is not seemly for a fool; much less for a servant to have rule over princes.

人有见识就不轻易发怒；宽恕人的过失便是自己的荣耀。
La cordura del hombre detiene su furor,Y su honra es pasar por alto la ofensa.
The discretion of a man deferreth his anger; and {it is} his glory to pass over a transgression. {discretion: or, prudence}

王的忿怒好像狮子吼叫；他的恩典却如草上的甘露。
Como rugido de cachorro de león es la ira del rey,Y su favor como el rocío sobre la hierba.
The king's wrath {is} as the roaring of a lion; but his favour {is} as dew upon the grass.

愚昧的儿子是父亲的祸患；妻子的争吵如雨连连滴漏。
Dolor es para su padre el hijo necio,Y gotera continua las contiendas de la mujer.
A foolish son {is} the calamity of his father: and the contentions of a wife {are} a continual dropping.

房屋钱财是祖宗所遗留的；惟有贤慧的妻是耶和华所赐的。
La casa y las riquezas son herencia de los padres;Mas de Jehová la mujer prudente.
House and riches {are} the inheritance of fathers: and a prudent wife {is} from the LORD.

懒惰使人沉睡；懈怠的人必受饥饿。
La pereza hace caer en profundo sueño,Y el alma negligente padecerá hambre.
Slothfulness casteth into a deep sleep; and an idle soul shall suffer hunger.
16
谨守诫命的，保全生命；轻忽己路的，必致死亡。
El que guarda el mandamiento guarda su alma;Mas el que menosprecia sus caminos morirá.
He that keepeth the commandment keepeth his own soul; {but} he that despiseth his ways shall die.

怜悯贫穷的，就是借给耶和华；他的善行，耶和华必偿还。
A Jehová presta el que da al pobre,Y el bien que ha hecho, se lo volverá a pagar.
He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the LORD; and that which he hath given will he pay him again. {that which...: or, his deed}

趁有指望，管教你的儿子；你的心不可任他死亡。
Castiga a tu hijo en tanto que hay esperanza;Mas no se apresure tu alma para destruirlo.
Chasten thy son while there is hope, and let not thy soul spare for his crying. {for...: or, to his destruction: or, to cause him to die}

暴怒的人必受刑罚；你若救他，必须再救。
El de grande ira llevará la pena;Y si usa de violencias, añadirá nuevos males.
A man of great wrath shall suffer punishment: for if thou deliver {him}, yet thou must do it again. {do: Heb. add}

你要听劝教，受训诲，使你终久有智慧。
Escucha el consejo, y recibe la corrección,Para que seas sabio en tu vejez.
Hear counsel, and receive instruction, that thou mayest be wise in thy latter end.

人心多有计谋；惟有耶和华的筹算才能立定。
Muchos pensamientos hay en el corazón del hombre;Mas el consejo de Jehová permanecerá.
{There are} many devices in a man's heart; nevertheless the counsel of the LORD, that shall stand.

施行仁慈的，令人爱慕；穷人强如说谎言的。
Contentamiento es a los hombres hacer misericordia;Pero mejor es el pobre que el mentiroso.
The desire of a man {is} his kindness: and a poor man {is} better than a liar.

敬畏耶和华的，得著生命；他必恒久知足，不遭祸患。
El temor de Jehová es para vida,Y con él vivirá lleno de reposo el hombre;No será visitado de mal.
The fear of the LORD {tendeth} to life: and {he that hath it} shall abide satisfied; he shall not be visited with evil.

懒惰人放手在盘子里，就是向口撤回，他也不肯。
El perezoso mete su mano en el plato,Y ni aun a su boca la llevará.
A slothful {man} hideth his hand in {his} bosom, and will not so much as bring it to his mouth again.
25
鞭打亵慢人，愚蒙人必长见识；责备明哲人，他就明白知识。
Hiere al escarnecedor, y el simple se hará avisado;Y corrigiendo al entendido, entenderá ciencia.
Smite a scorner, and the simple will beware: and reprove one that hath understanding, {and} he will understand knowledge. {will beware: Heb. will be cunning}

虐待父亲、撵出母亲的，是贻羞致辱之子。
El que roba a su padre y ahuyenta a su madre,Es hijo que causa vergüenza y acarrea oprobio.
He that wasteth {his} father, {and} chaseth away {his} mother, {is} a son that causeth shame, and bringeth reproach.

我儿，不可听了教训而又偏离知识的言语。
Cesa, hijo mío, de oír las enseñanzasQue te hacen divagar de las razones de sabiduría.
Cease, my son, to hear the instruction {that causeth} to err from the words of knowledge.

匪徒作见证戏笑公平；恶人的口吞下罪孽。
El testigo perverso se burlará del juicio,Y la boca de los impíos encubrirá la iniquidad.
An ungodly witness scorneth judgment: and the mouth of the wicked devoureth iniquity. {An...: Heb. A witness of Belial}

刑罚是为亵慢人预备的；鞭打是为愚昧人的背预备的。
Preparados están juicios para los escarnecedores,Y azotes para las espaldas de los necios.
Judgments are prepared for scorners, and stripes for the back of fools.
