以色列王大卫儿子所罗门的箴言：
Los proverbios de Salomón, hijo de David, rey de Israel.
The proverbs of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel;

要使人晓得智慧和训诲，分辨通达的言语，
Para entender sabiduría y doctrina,Para conocer razones prudentes,
To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding;

使人处事领受智慧、仁义、公平、正直的训诲，
Para recibir el consejo de prudencia,Justicia, juicio y equidad;
To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equity; {equity: Heb. equities}

使愚人灵明，使少年人有知识和谋略，
Para dar sagacidad a los simples,Y a los jóvenes inteligencia y cordura.
To give subtilty to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion. {discretion: or, advisement}

使智慧人听见，增长学问，使聪明人得著智谋
Oirá el sabio, y aumentará el saber,Y el entendido adquirirá consejo,
A wise {man} will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:

使人明白箴言和譬喻，懂得智慧人的言词和谜语。
Para entender proverbio y declaración,Palabras de sabios, y sus dichos profundos.
To understand a proverb, and the interpretation; the words of the wise, and their dark sayings. {the interpretation: or, an eloquent speech}

敬畏耶和华是知识的开端；愚妄人藐视智慧和训诲。
El principio de la sabiduría es el temor de Jehová;Los insensatos desprecian la sabiduría y la enseñanza.
The fear of the LORD {is} the beginning of knowledge: {but} fools despise wisdom and instruction. {the beginning: or, the principal part}

我儿，要听你父亲的训诲，不可离弃你母亲的法则（或译：指教）；
Oye, hijo mío, la instrucción de tu padre,Y no desprecies la dirección de tu madre;
My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother:
9
因为这要作你头上的华冠，你项上的金链。
Porque adorno de gracia serán a tu cabeza,Y collares a tu cuello.
For they {shall be} an ornament of grace unto thy head, and chains about thy neck. {an...: Heb. an adding}

我儿，恶人若引诱你，你不可随从。
Hijo mío, si los pecadores te quisieren engañar,No consientas.
My son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not.
11
他们若说：你与我们同去，我们要埋伏流人之血，要蹲伏害无罪之人；
Si dijeren: Ven con nosotros;Pongamos asechanzas para derramar sangre,Acechemos sin motivo al inocente;
If they say, Come with us, let us lay wait for blood, let us lurk privily for the innocent without cause:

我们好像阴间，把他们活活吞下；他们如同下坑的人，被我们囫囵吞了；
Los tragaremos vivos como el Seol,Y enteros, como los que caen en un abismo;
Let us swallow them up alive as the grave; and whole, as those that go down into the pit:
13
我们必得各样宝物，将所掳来的，装满房屋；
Hallaremos riquezas de toda clase,Llenaremos nuestras casas de despojos;
We shall find all precious substance, we shall fill our houses with spoil:
14
你与我们大家同分，我们共用一个囊袋；
Echa tu suerte entre nosotros;Tengamos todos una bolsa.
Cast in thy lot among us; let us all have one purse:
15
我儿，不要与他们同行一道，禁止你脚走他们的路。
Hijo mío, no andes en camino con ellos.Aparta tu pie de sus veredas,
My son, walk not thou in the way with them; refrain thy foot from their path:
16
因为，他们的脚奔跑行恶；他们急速流人的血，
Porque sus pies corren hacia el mal,Y van presurosos a derramar sangre.
For their feet run to evil, and make haste to shed blood.
17
好像飞鸟，网罗设在眼前仍不躲避。
Porque en vano se tenderá la redAnte los ojos de toda ave;
Surely in vain the net is spread in the sight of any bird. {in the...: Heb. in the eyes of every thing that hath a wing}
18
这些人埋伏，是为自流己血；蹲伏，是为自害己命。
Pero ellos a su propia sangre ponen asechanzas,Y a sus almas tienden lazo.
And they lay wait for their {own} blood; they lurk privily for their {own} lives.
19
凡贪恋财利的，所行之路都是如此；这贪恋之心乃夺去得财者之命。
Tales son las sendas de todo el que es dado a la codicia,La cual quita la vida de sus poseedores.
So {are} the ways of every one that is greedy of gain; {which} taketh away the life of the owners thereof.
20
智慧在街市上呼喊，在宽阔处发声，
La sabiduría clama en las calles,Alza su voz en las plazas;
Wisdom crieth without; she uttereth her voice in the streets: {Wisdom: Heb. Wisdoms, that is, Excellent wisdom}
21
在热闹街头喊叫，在城门口，在城中发出言语，
Clama en los principales lugares de reunión;En las entradas de las puertas de la ciudad dice sus razones.
She crieth in the chief place of concourse, in the openings of the gates: in the city she uttereth her words, {saying},
22
说：你们愚昧人喜爱愚昧，亵慢人喜欢亵慢，愚顽人恨恶知识，要到几时呢？
¿Hasta cuándo, oh simples, amaréis la simpleza,Y los burladores desearán el burlar,Y los insensatos aborrecerán la ciencia?
How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge?

你们当因我的责备回转；我要将我的灵浇灌你们，将我的话指示你们。
Volveos a mi reprensión;He aquí yo derramaré mi espíritu sobre vosotros,Y os haré saber mis palabras.
Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.

我呼唤，你们不肯听从；我伸手，无人理会；
Por cuanto llamé, y no quisisteis oír,Extendí mi mano, y no hubo quien atendiese,
Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded;
25
反轻弃我一切的劝戒，不肯受我的责备。
Sino que desechasteis todo consejo míoY mi reprensión no quisisteis,
But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof:
26
你们遭灾难，我就发笑；惊恐临到你们，我必嗤笑。
También yo me reiré en vuestra calamidad,Y me burlaré cuando os viniere lo que teméis;
I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh;
27
惊恐临到你们，好像狂风；灾难来到，如同暴风；急难痛苦临到你们身上。
Cuando viniere como una destrucción lo que teméis,Y vuestra calamidad llegare como un torbellino;Cuando sobre vosotros viniere tribulación y angustia.
When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you.

那时，你们必呼求我，我却不答应，恳切地寻找我，却寻不见。
Entonces me llamarán, y no responderé;Me buscarán de mañana, y no me hallarán.
Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me:
29
因为，你们恨恶知识，不喜爱敬畏耶和华，
Por cuanto aborrecieron la sabiduría,Y no escogieron el temor de Jehová,
For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD:
30
不听我的劝戒，藐视我一切的责备，
Ni quisieron mi consejo,Y menospreciaron toda reprensión mía,
They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof.
31
所以必吃自结的果子，充满自设的计谋.。
Comerán del fruto de su camino,Y serán hastiados de sus propios consejos.
Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices.
32
愚昧人背道，必杀己身；愚顽人安逸，必害己命。
Porque el desvío de los ignorantes los matará,Y la prosperidad de los necios los echará a perder;
For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them. {turning...: or, ease of the simple}
33
惟有听从我的，必安然居住，得享安静，不怕灾祸。
Mas el que me oyere, habitará confiadamenteY vivirá tranquilo, sin temor del mal.
But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.
