你若与官长坐席，要留意在你面前的是谁。
Cuando te sientes a comer con algún señor,Considera bien lo que está delante de ti,
When thou sittest to eat with a ruler, consider diligently what {is} before thee:

你若是贪食的，就当拿刀放在喉咙上。
Y pon cuchillo a tu garganta,Si tienes gran apetito.
And put a knife to thy throat, if thou {be} a man given to appetite.

不可贪恋他的美食，因为是哄人的食物。
No codicies sus manjares delicados,Porque es pan engañoso.
Be not desirous of his dainties: for they {are} deceitful meat.

不要劳碌求富，休仗自己的聪明。
No te afanes por hacerte rico;Sé prudente, y desiste.
Labour not to be rich: cease from thine own wisdom.

你岂要定睛在虚无的钱财上么？因钱财必长翅膀，如鹰向天飞去。
¿Has de poner tus ojos en las riquezas, siendo ningunas?Porque se harán alasComo alas de águila, y volarán al cielo.
Wilt thou set thine eyes upon that which is not? for {riches} certainly make themselves wings; they fly away as an eagle toward heaven. {set...: Heb. cause thine eyes to fly upon}

不要吃恶眼人的饭，也不要贪他的美味；
No comas pan con el avaro,Ni codicies sus manjares;
Eat thou not the bread of {him that hath} an evil eye, neither desire thou his dainty meats:

因为他心怎样思量，他为人就是怎样。他虽对你说，请吃，请喝，他的心却与你相背。
Porque cual es su pensamiento en su corazón, tal es él.Come y bebe, te dirá;Mas su corazón no está contigo.
For as he thinketh in his heart, so {is} he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart {is} not with thee.

你所吃的那点食物必吐出来；你所说的甘美言语也必落空。
Vomitarás la parte que comiste,Y perderás tus suaves palabras.
The morsel {which} thou hast eaten shalt thou vomit up, and lose thy sweet words.

你不要说话给愚昧人听，因他必藐视你智慧的言语。
No hables a oídos del necio,Porque menospreciará la prudencia de tus razones.
Speak not in the ears of a fool: for he will despise the wisdom of thy words.

不可挪移古时的地界，也不可侵入孤儿的田地；
No traspases el lindero antiguo,Ni entres en la heredad de los huérfanos;
Remove not the old landmark; and enter not into the fields of the fatherless: {landmark: or, bound}

因他们的救赎主大有能力，他必向你为他们辨屈。
Porque el defensor de ellos es el Fuerte,El cual juzgará la causa de ellos contra ti.
For their redeemer {is} mighty; he shall plead their cause with thee.

你要留心领受训诲，侧耳听从知识的言语。
Aplica tu corazón a la enseñanza,Y tus oídos a las palabras de sabiduría.
Apply thine heart unto instruction, and thine ears to the words of knowledge.

不可不管教孩童；你用杖打他，他必不至于死。
No rehúses corregir al muchacho;Porque si lo castigas con vara, no morirá.
Withhold not correction from the child: for {if} thou beatest him with the rod, he shall not die.

你要用杖打他，就可以救他的灵魂免下阴间。
Lo castigarás con vara,Y librarás su alma del Seol.
Thou shalt beat him with the rod, and shalt deliver his soul from hell.
15
我儿，你心若存智慧，我的心也甚欢喜。
Hijo mío, si tu corazón fuere sabio,También a mí se me alegrará el corazón;
My son, if thine heart be wise, my heart shall rejoice, even mine. {even...: or, even I will rejoice}

你的嘴若说正直话，我的心肠也必快乐。
Mis entrañas también se alegraránCuando tus labios hablaren cosas rectas.
Yea, my reins shall rejoice, when thy lips speak right things.
17
你心中不要嫉妒罪人，只要终日敬畏耶和华；
No tenga tu corazón envidia de los pecadores,Antes persevera en el temor de Jehová todo el tiempo;
Let not thine heart envy sinners: but {be thou} in the fear of the LORD all the day long.
18
因为至终必有善报，你的指望也不致断绝。
Porque ciertamente hay fin,Y tu esperanza no será cortada.
For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off. {end: or, reward}

我儿，你当听，当存智慧，好在正道上引导你的心。
Oye, hijo mío, y sé sabio,Y endereza tu corazón al camino.
Hear thou, my son, and be wise, and guide thine heart in the way.
20
好饮酒的，好吃肉的，不要与他们来往；
No estés con los bebedores de vino,Ni con los comedores de carne;
Be not among winebibbers; among riotous eaters of flesh: {of flesh: Heb. of their flesh}

因为好酒贪食的，必致贫穷；好睡觉的，必穿破烂衣服。
Porque el bebedor y el comilón empobrecerán,Y el sueño hará vestir vestidos rotos.
For the drunkard and the glutton shall come to poverty: and drowsiness shall clothe {a man} with rags.
22
你要听从生你的父亲；你母亲老了，也不可藐视他。
Oye a tu padre, a aquel que te engendró;Y cuando tu madre envejeciere, no la menosprecies.
Hearken unto thy father that begat thee, and despise not thy mother when she is old.

你当买真理；就是智慧、训诲，和聪明也都不可卖。
Compra la verdad, y no la vendas;La sabiduría, la enseñanza y la inteligencia.
Buy the truth, and sell {it} not; {also} wisdom, and instruction, and understanding.
24
义人的父亲必大得快乐；人生智慧的儿子，必因他欢喜。
Mucho se alegrará el padre del justo,Y el que engendra sabio se gozará con él.
The father of the righteous shall greatly rejoice: and he that begetteth a wise {child} shall have joy of him.
25
你要使父母欢喜，使生你的快乐。
Alégrense tu padre y tu madre,Y gócese la que te dio a luz.
Thy father and thy mother shall be glad, and she that bare thee shall rejoice.

我儿，要将你的心归我；你的眼目也要喜悦我的道路。
Dame, hijo mío, tu corazón,Y miren tus ojos por mis caminos.
My son, give me thine heart, and let thine eyes observe my ways.
27
妓女是深坑；外女是窄阱。
Porque abismo profundo es la ramera,Y pozo angosto la extraña.
For a whore {is} a deep ditch; and a strange woman {is} a narrow pit.

他埋伏好像强盗；他使人中多有奸诈的。
También ella, como robador, acecha,Y multiplica entre los hombres los prevaricadores.
She also lieth in wait as {for} a prey, and increaseth the transgressors among men. {as for...: or, as a robber}

谁有祸患？谁有忧愁？谁有争斗？谁有哀叹（或译：怨言）？谁无故受伤？谁眼目红赤？
¿Para quién será el ay? ¿Para quién el dolor? ¿Para quién las rencillas?¿Para quién las quejas? ¿Para quién las heridas en balde?¿Para quién lo amoratado de los ojos?
Who hath woe? who hath sorrow? who hath contentions? who hath babbling? who hath wounds without cause? who hath redness of eyes?

就是那流连饮酒、常去寻找调和酒的人。
Para los que se detienen mucho en el vino,Para los que van buscando la mistura.
They that tarry long at the wine; they that go to seek mixed wine.

酒发红，在杯中闪烁，你不可观看，虽然下咽舒畅，终久是咬你如蛇，刺你如毒蛇。
No mires al vino cuando rojea,Cuando resplandece su color en la copa.Se entra suavemente;
Look not thou upon the wine when it is red, when it giveth his colour in the cup, {when} it moveth itself aright.

你眼必看见异怪的事（或译：淫妇）；你心必发出乖谬的话。
Tus ojos mirarán cosas extrañas,Y tu corazón hablará perversidades.
Thine eyes shall behold strange women, and thine heart shall utter perverse things.

你必像躺在海中，或像卧在桅杆上。
Serás como el que yace en medio del mar,O como el que está en la punta de un mastelero.
Yea, thou shalt be as he that lieth down in the midst of the sea, or as he that lieth upon the top of a mast. {the midst...: Heb. the heart of the sea}

你必说：人打我，我却未受伤；人鞭打我，我竟不觉得。我几时清醒，我仍去寻酒。
Y dirás: Me hirieron, mas no me dolió;Me azotaron, mas no lo sentí;Cuando despertare, aún lo volveré a buscar.
They have stricken me, {shalt thou say, and} I was not sick; they have beaten me, {and} I felt {it} not: when shall I awake? I will seek it yet again. {I felt...: Heb. I knew it not}
