（大卫的诗，交与伶长耶杜顿。）我曾说：我要谨慎我的言行，免得我舌头犯罪；恶人在我面前的时候，我要用嚼环勒住我的口。
Yo dije: Atenderé a mis caminos,Para no pecar con mi lengua;Guardaré mi boca con freno,En tanto que el impío esté delante de mí.

我默然无声，连好话也不出口；我的愁苦就发动了，
Enmudecí con silencio, me callé aun respecto de lo bueno;Y se agravó mi dolor.
I was dumb with silence, I held my peace, {even} from good; and my sorrow was stirred. {stirred: Heb. troubled}

我的心在我里面发热。我默想的时候，火就烧起，我便用舌头说话。
Se enardeció mi corazón dentro de mí;En mi meditación se encendió fuego,Y así proferí con mi lengua:
My heart was hot within me, while I was musing the fire burned: {then} spake I with my tongue,

耶和华啊，求你叫我晓得我身之终！我的寿数几何？叫我知道我的生命不长！
Hazme saber, Jehová, mi fin,Y cuánta sea la medida de mis días;Sepa yo cuán frágil soy.
LORD, make me to know mine end, and the measure of my days, what it {is; that} I may know how frail I {am}. {how...: or, what time I have here}

你使我的年日窄如手掌；我一生的年数，在你面前如同无有。各人最稳妥的时候，真是全然虚幻。（细拉）
He aquí, diste a mis días término corto,Y mi edad es como nada delante de ti;Ciertamente es completa vanidad todo hombre que vive.
Behold, thou hast made my days {as} an handbreadth; and mine age {is} as nothing before thee: verily every man at his best state {is} altogether vanity. Selah. {at...: Heb. settled}

世人行动实系幻影。他们忙乱，真是枉然；积蓄财宝，不知将来有谁收取。
Ciertamente como una sombra es el hombre;Ciertamente en vano se afana;Amontona riquezas, y no sabe quién las recogerá.
Surely every man walketh in a vain shew: surely they are disquieted in vain: he heapeth up {riches}, and knoweth not who shall gather them. {a vain...: Heb. an image}

主啊，如今我等甚么呢？我的指望在乎你！
Y ahora, Señor, ¿qué esperaré?Mi esperanza está en ti.
And now, Lord, what wait I for? my hope {is} in thee.

求你救我脱离一切的过犯，不要使我受愚顽人的羞辱。
Líbrame de todas mis transgresiones;No me pongas por escarnio del insensato.
Deliver me from all my transgressions: make me not the reproach of the foolish.

因我所遭遇的是出于你，我就默然不语。
Enmudecí, no abrí mi boca,Porque tú lo hiciste.
I was dumb, I opened not my mouth; because thou didst {it}.

求你把你的责罚从我身上免去；因你手的责打，我便消灭。
Quita de sobre mí tu plaga;Estoy consumido bajo los golpes de tu mano.
Remove thy stroke away from me: I am consumed by the blow of thine hand. {blow: Heb. conflict}

你因人的罪恶惩罚他的时候，叫他的笑容（的笑容：或译所喜爱的）消灭，如衣被虫所咬。世人真是虚幻！（细拉）
Con castigos por el pecado corriges al hombre,Y deshaces como polilla lo más estimado de él;Ciertamente vanidad es todo hombre.
When thou with rebukes dost correct man for iniquity, thou makest his beauty to consume away like a moth: surely every man {is} vanity. Selah. {his...: Heb. that which is to be desired in him to melt away}

耶和华啊，求你听我的祷告，留心听我的呼求！我流泪，求你不要静默无声！因为我在你面前是客旅，是寄居的，像我列祖一般。
Oye mi oración, oh Jehová, y escucha mi clamor.No calles ante mis lágrimas;Porque forastero soy para ti,Y advenedizo, como todos mis padres.
Hear my prayer, O LORD, and give ear unto my cry; hold not thy peace at my tears: for I {am} a stranger with thee, {and} a sojourner, as all my fathers {were}.

求你宽容我，使我在去而不返之先可以力量复原。
Déjame, y tomaré fuerzas,Antes que vaya y perezca.
O spare me, that I may recover strength, before I go hence, and be no more.
